Love it - needs a side window opposite the sliding door, and a slightly longer-wheelbase version to allow the bed to be longitudinal and it'd be perfect.

I love this design as you say Alan. Quite unique. And only 5.41m!! A Danish feelgood hygge style. Just enough lovely wood like in many megamobil models. Yet spacious. Look forward to seeing the slightly larger models from Affinity because as one other comment said, a longitudinal bed would be better. Bravo for design! 👏

I think that is an excellent design. I had thought myself of a van conversion design in which there is a barrier behind the driver's cab and the kitchen goes along that barrier. An advantage with this is that you have a much more square space inside. I think there are some additional advantages such as having three seats in the cabin and with that barrier between the cabin and the living area I suspect it will be quieter while driving, finally I think that the living area will be better insulated in this design.

Makes a lot of sense as a short term vehicle for actual camping (as opposed to van-lifing)

its bigger snd more cosy than a lot of van lifers
@robertlynn73329 ай бұрын
It certainly feels bigger, but I have a feeling most full time van lifers would get tired of unfolding the bed every night. I think this would also make a great rental camper

@@robertlynn7332 would be great for rentals, easier to handle, and very cottage feel inside great for holidays, a glamper van.

Allan has it been winterised for all year camping please? I love it BTW I have been waiting for the builders to catch on to the van life market. They live in them and know what works.

I think the British converted, Consort Kite is a better use of 5.4m.

I agree that a diesel heater is needed. I wouldn't be without one now. I dont understand why all vans and caravans have no lift up cover for the sink and hob. i do in my converted Renault trafic. It gives more work surface as well as protects the lift up glass lids. I wonder though if the self converting van lifers will actually spend @ 62k on this. At what point will the manufacturer give the go ahead

Would you swap your van for a new one of these? mmmm didn't think so. 😊

great design, looks huge inside even tho 5.4m, the usual bathroom in centre on other vans really crowds out. and very low price

Good idea,but again, why oh why no diesel heather, more space less hassle
