Tiny Cute Baby Monkey - Koh Phaluai, Thailand 2012

Very cute and very small baby monkey being fed.
This was recorded on a small fishing island called Phaluai.
It couldn't have been more than a few days old.

@@christinaborden2056 Some monkeys have almost no tail, a stump tail, some have short tails some long tails and others have even longer tails, some even have exceptionally long tails. It's all makes interesting reading. However some people cut off monkey's tails so that the nappy fits. It is probably good idea to know which species of monkey you are watching before insinuating things about the tail. There was no need to call her a dumb bitch though. BTW I am totally opposed to keeping a monkey pet.

Lol...that has nothing to do with it. Once they have been away from their mothers for about a week no matter what age they were taken they stop calling for her. If you hear one crying after that then it is calling for the person caring for it not the mother. They get over it very quickly and transfer those needs to whoever is feeding it and showing it affection.

Then skip it next feeding but pick up where you left off on the feeding following that. Start the exchange by spitting on it. That'll get the fun rolling again. Love to make these things tremble. Love even more how they come back for more abuse - needing any comfort they can get. How perfect is that? Beat and it will run to you for comfort. Kick it and it will come cling on your boot. Leave it alone and it will cry and throw a fit until you give it more of the attention it can't live without.

Anyway, most of those who have comments they make as if they know ALL about monkeys the majority of them do not even take the time to either watch the video, read the caption or both. I did not get the feeling anyone "took" this monkey from anywhere but are caring for it for whatever reason - most likely because it did not have a mother.

Oh cmon...until it gets old enough that it no longer is so cute and sweet and gets a mind of its own. When they start pooping adult monkey size and smelling turds into a diaperand you have to change it every few hours every single day for the next 25 years! It's one thing to change a baby monkey's poop diaper nut a whole other thing to change and clean up an adult monkey's poop diaper...and that's if you can keep a diaper on an adult because if they decide they don't want it on (and they usually don't) they can definitely take it off. In addition to that once they get older they don't like to be told no or have things taken away from them and they express their displeasure in many different not so pleasant ways. So yeah it's all sweet and cute and cuddly til it's not. I'm also not sure you would enjoy the types of adventures you would go on in reality with an adult macaque!
