I LOVE hand washing the dishes. The warm soapy water just is sort of therapeutic. I hope her daughters will have fond memories of it as they get older. Her house is just gorgeous!

Haha, thank you, I shared your lovely comment with my children… And only time will tell if they will actually carry any fondness or appreciation for hand washing the dishes… but regardless, it doesn’t change the fact that those dishes still have to get washed, whether any of us are fond of it or not… cause I don’t particularly love doing it every day either, haha 👍🏻

Perfect. When the girls want their own rooms I’d out storage shelves down the middle of the loft. Plus side they can store things and have a twin bed on each side and privacy

Thank you for taking the time to create this video. I could so live in that space on our camping lots, but the minimum square footage allow from residents is 700. I just don't need or want. Alien tape will be a big help in your home. Holds cinder blocks up. The tape holds weight along of weight. So you can hang shelves serge protectors , you could use it over your kitchen sink with one of those long lights. I forget what they are called. Walmart sells them. Very cheap to. I have mine still bought it 20 years ago and changed the bulb once. The tape is easy to remove using a heat gun or hair dryer.

Just looked up the specs for my house, and it is 11’4” by 42’ in total, and it’s considered to be 399 sq. ft, which doesn’t include the porch or loft space 👍🏻

I’m interested to know what community this is. I am definitely interested in buying a tiny home and have been looking and researching. All the community seem to be set up so that every house is close together. Disney road looks different and I would love to know more information about this community. Linda mentioned that we are in a gated community, but I have never put an unhealthy amount of trust in that fact alone. We already have safety bars at the bottom of their side slide windows, you just can’t see them in this video. We also have security cameras, and firearm protection. We don’t choose to live a life constantly motivated by fear, but we are still aware that child predators exist, and have made conscious decisions and had important conversations within our home to keep safety measures in place. Thanks for your concern, though!

Yes, I was trying to remember what the entire length of the build was, not just the interior sq footage and dimensions… it’s listed by the builder at 399 sq ft. but that does not include the porch or the loft. And after looking up the specs, the entire build is indeed bigger than 10x40, it’s actually 11’4” by 42’ because that includes the porch.

Dang it, I’m totally with you @sarcasticlady. Super dark. Wish you had just been there with us, and you could’ve just told me in person. Definitely would’ve helped. 👍🏻 All my lights are actually smart lights and I have them on timers and schedules, so I don’t actually ever think about turning them on when I don’t need them to see. And obviously I couldn’t see what the camera saw… but thanks for the suggestion, I’m sure Linda will use your comment as constructive criticism for future videos.
