Exactly this guy is! Wow and so young even. My father was a prof camper van builder for years, so Ive seen a lot of craftsmanship, but I loved your way of working as well as his! Most people DIY are hasty or just not as equipped or as detailed, but you just thought everything so good through! And I love that way of working, because you make it as fine detailed and so good quality just by thinking this through. You are a talented young men as I see your result as a gift God gave you. Your hands can make what your brain thinks and that is worth GOLD in these days! I was shocked how many views you got on the build and how less subscribed.... As for other DIY there not much craftsmanship to see and they got tons of subscribers, you deserve so much more! You took the time to make a real artwork and I liked it a lot. I love to see more designs of you. Not only a van, but design for example some furniture what takes up less space and is practical to have at hand. Even a working space in small area which can be expanse or kitchen table/cooking space all in one stuff ..for you are gifted with working with wood in a good way. And I can tell because we built for a living and sold vans, campers we call them in Europe for teams (12 persons sleepplaces, kitchen, bathroom, workingspace, dining, outside stuff, power generators etc. sportsteams F1 like building. You are gifted!

I had never built a house either. But I decided to teach myself by first building a small shed. Then I bought a "Kit Home" which is steel frames assembled in a factory and delivered to your block of land. You erect the frames and screw them together. Then you put the roof on (zincalume) and the walls (cedar wood outside, gyproc drywall inside). It took 4 years while I worked in a full-time job.

I particularly like the south Korean builders. They're also meticulous and precise. But most of all I like how Americans build. They are fun to watch, calculative and when they're done it's beautiful, functional and built to last. Every build is exceptional . Whether you're from Germany, Asia or North America. Everybody brings something "usable" to the plate. That said , they've all used you tube videos made in America to try and emulate the originators. All's fair in van life/ camping world. Hey, the more the merrier. Happy camping! 😉

Wait this is a real tiny house... but it's definitely not for kids despite the perfect kiddy size (TAT). And the use of PC fans as vents is pure genius I love it! Any bigger and you can already make a more complete house the size of campervans or buses... You made this one-year-long extra careful and perfect build look so easy though and that's real skill and talent!

The final result is very impressive, but also quite cute ! I hope you have many happy adventures traveling around and see some beautiful sites, while meeting lots of new friends. However, I think you need a traveling partner - a traveling cat would be ideal. You could rescue or adopt a shelter kitten and train them to walk on a harness, sit beside you while driving, and keep you company at night while sleeping. Good luck on your new adventures.

17:38 Although for campers security may not be your biggest concern, usually you shouldn't let your door hinge be outside because it's susceptible to spring attack (use spring hammer to knock the center metal strip out to make the door detached). If possible try replace them with architect hinge that's hidden in the door itself.

from my western perspective its feels odd not to see a bed put in- if I'd have been trying to do it I would have spent ages trying to fit everything round a bed. loved the build.
@rachelascott31303 ай бұрын
Yes, I would start with a bed, too. One of my campers, which was home-made, and I bought, mostly finished, was almost entirely devoted in space, on the inside, by a platform for a queen-sized bed. Because I traveled with three dogs, this worked well for me, though, because the dogs could sleep underneath the bed platform. Another camper, I bought, I converted, with help, into an aluminum teardrop camper, which I worked on, in part, finishing the inside. It had a round door for my cat, so I could keep a cat litter box in the back compartment of the camper. A lid covered the hole when it wasn’t in use. Everyone has their own particular priorities; it’s lucky to be able to design specifically for what’s most important for you.

I'm so impressed by the economy of the design and the precision of the work, done with few power tools. This build is much superior to most other projects on YT. In the US, we would want screens on the windows for ventilation and to keep out insects. I wonder how comfortable the insulation keeps the interior in very hot or cold weather. You deserve more than one like! (I'm also coveting a mini truck.)
