It looks amazing! Loved hearing all those birds in the background!!!
@BidwellCanyonFarm2 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! I have to admit the bird sounds were recorded earlier in the spring when all of the migrating species come through the farm. I then overdubbed the audio from that over the drone footage. This time of year there aren’t quite as many singing but still enough to make you appreciate nature to the fullest!

Hey Brian, tiny house looks great! Curious what you did for the stud spacing on the walls and sub floor? Also what was the total weight of the home with everything in it? Thanks
@BidwellCanyonFarm2 жыл бұрын
Subfloor spacing is 2’ on center Doug fir 2x6 with 3/4” OSB T+G subfloor and walls are 16” on center 2x4 Doug fir. There are a couple videos on our channel that talk a little more in detail about the subfloor and thermal break and a framing video too. Hope this helps you out!

Sir would you consider selling the blueprints? I'm interested in doing something like this in Nicaragua and would have to take everything from the United States
@BidwellCanyonFarm Жыл бұрын
If I had blueprints, i would totally consider selling them to you. But I don’t. A lot of the framing plans I made in sketch up. But the rest was in my head.
@briandmillo1726 Жыл бұрын
@@BidwellCanyonFarm wow you're good. I can put plans together on sketch up but what I would like to know if there are any building codes that I need to know before starting this project.
@BidwellCanyonFarm Жыл бұрын
@@briandmillo1726 that would be something to take up with your local building dept. since codes can vary greatly between states, counties, countries, etc. different areas have different shear requirements for wind loads, snow loads etc. and often times will require engineering. I built it crazy strong to withstand hauling, snow, wind all the things.

You'll need the material list.

How much was the tiny home build?
@BidwellCanyonFarm11 ай бұрын
I do a full cost breakdown in part 7! Materials came out to just under $50k. Which translates to about $65k nowadays.
