Ironic how you had to use the university pack to have a shower that works in Tiny Living... like they couldn't include one. They should have included a toilet with a sink on the top of it, at least. And a smaller stove, like a single burner. I hate the full sized stoves because they never use all burners anyway. I like the idea of the Tiny living pack, but they really didn't meet their full potential, as usual.

@pelahnar4
@pelahnar4 4 жыл бұрын
@@nathancreek6086 Sure, and I know murphy beds were the big items for this pack, but you don't _need_ one to make it a tiny build, right? A normal single bed and a chair work off-grid and even take up less space. (Although it would've been nice if they'd added a manual bed/sofa combo. I used to have one)
@sha46327

Most Off the Grid tiny homes have solar power, internet/tv through their cell phone company and water from either delivery, rain collection or being connected to a "main house" (the house who's land they're parked on or from the RV park they're currently in). "Off the Grid" really just means not connected to and/or paying for city utilities.

Ario Budiarto ladders and stairs have always been separate things though. Ladders are objects, so with different wall heights they could have different ladder heights or just place another ladder above. We get different windows in bigger sizes for taller walls. And now that columns have been updated to raise heights they could reuse that mechanic or just let us add a second ladder above the first.

@@moodycxnt don't need to be in that age bracket. With the new government incentives that were announced, anyone between the ages of 35 - 50 have been fobbed off in regard to employers wanting to hire them because they get no money out of it. That's the age bracket that have young families who NEED JOBS just as much as the younger ones. Also women are the worst affected, always been the least supported and are having to be put through the ringer because those in charge in our country are utterly useless in helping those who are in need well before this hit. (I live in Victoria and kinda over all of it.) there's going to be many living in cars because vans are a luxury.

5:15 Too be honest - why everyone is forgetting Dish-Washers, they literally leave you whole counter spot, and still allow you to wash your dishes. You don't need sinks in kitchens in Sims 4 - on top of it, people want constantly drink water from it either. 8:25 In my builds, when creating smaller bedrooms like that - some of the kid's bookshelves fit in that area without glitching any interactions. And they give some spots for toys and lamps. 8:30 Technically when I think about it now - you could probably also fit an extra chair at the dining table. Which would be nicer to have for family dinners. 12:55 Toddlers are way more tricky, cause you can't bath them without actual bath. But you do save one more tile for the bed, so technically you can still work around it.

Definitely need a countertop stove and a ladder now so that we can make a more realistic trailer with loft sleeping area over the 'sticking out part' at the front. - When I lived in a tiny motorhome (probably smaller than this build - the inside floor space was 8'x6') for several years, we used that overhead area for storage and had several plastic storage drawer sets up there to keep things in. It was actually a double bed, but there was another bed in the back corner, next to the bathroom, that we used, so that space became storage. Our computers were used at the table, which was a booth style, and had to be brought out when we wanted to use them. Hanging things on the walls was impossible partly because the walls were very thin, but also because there just was no room... the walls had windows and below them were things to use like the sink and stove. Other people living in various sized units had a carpet outside and an awning on the side of their 'house' and set tables and chairs there so that the 'house' was extended a bit. We had no such luxuries. I have a sister (and her hubby) who live in a 25 foot 5th-wheel with a slide in the living room and a separate area over the hitch that is their bedroom. It's more than twice what we had and they are able to live comfortably in it because of that... although they are now (after 5 years) looking to move to a 30 foot for the extra space.

you can put the desk on the wall behind it and extend that wall to the 32nd tile, having the nook for the desk and it creates a walkway so the bed doesn't have to be up to use the desk

Awesome job! Love seeing you do more garden stuff again! (Feels like it's been a while?) Only thing I would change in the build is the way the front door opens. I think it makes more sense the other way around so the door doesn't get in the way when you enter. (Of course sims can just walk straight through it but in real life it would be obstructive.) And a ladder up to the roof would be perfect for a build like this! Too bad they didn't add them... XP Also, that bathroom is so cool! Can't believe it works! XD

This needed to be a game pack.. new world with lots like the trailer park in stranger ville, no bunk beds, no smaller stair cases (ladders or spiral would of worked!) only the bed is a combo, a toilet and sink item would of been fucking great! Fold away table/desk too. I feel it’s half a pack... of that! This is a big topic that is well loved and should be a game pack and be more filled :)

I love trailers and park models and small houses and they do have chandelier in trailer particularly they have high end 5th wheels with large living room kitchen areas with one as the ceiling is higher for the bedroom over the flat bed. Some people take it down while driving depending on the material. Really great build, very hype for this pack.
@Fatlatouch

The flowers around the bottom of the trailer make sense to me at least where I'm from because we do have a camp ground around here where people can go to either use tents in the one area. RV's in another area. There are cabins people can rent out and THEN there is another section where people can bring in their mobile homes/trailers and park em and people to plant things because they buy the spaces and vacation there for the entire seasons or sometimes all year or two. So it makes sense. And some people do take their mobile homes/trailers to other places around the country just like that and come back. Not sure how people can afford that but yeah. I thought that you might wanna know that. It's really neat I think. :)

I like how u can actually fit everything in a corner and put the sink in the wall. In sims 3 everything had to be set on a block and couldn't go through anything and if the bed wasn't fully open the sun wouldn't be able to get into lol. This makes it so much easier to make a tiny house.
