People think they need to live in a bigger space. After downsizing from a 2000sq house to a 500 sq apartment I prefer the apartment. Props to you for being able to save so much money and investing it. You're doing a lot better financially then most people who live in bigger and more expensive apartments.

You actually do need a bigger space but can you survive on a 80 square feet, sure. This is a case of need vs the barest needs.

its fine to live in a small shitty space when you're young to save money but if you're doing this your entire life, you will have wasted your life by living like crap and not being able to experience a good life. money is pointless if you don't spend it.

I think with your logo on it and George Washington not showing - people might have thought it was funny money. But some will eventually pick a few up, and the money will find its way to other parts of the city. It was still a good marketing technique though,. You will get some action from this. These breathtaking girls are a result of working harder and longer…breaking the stereotype of “single Native American mom on food stamps - EBT- and free medical. And showing them “Entitlement means NOTHING. Your life will be about benefits or you. So choose.” Smaller is better. Not just on finances…but the planet’s resources. You are doing well, young man.

Too many stickers on the money made it look fake. And maybe the maniacal screaming FREE MONEY! kind of weirded people out, which is kind of like the least weird thing they see on their walk today. I was married for 27 years and having a home is so overrated. My BFF of 50 years bought a house in 1996 for $129,000 and when he bought it he boasted “I’m a homeowner”. 3 years ago he had to quit work due to heart problems and in 25 years he refied every few years so he pays $1000 a month which is good but he has a second mortgage that he’s not paid on for years. So the bottom line is: 1. He can’t sell it until he deals with the second 2. It’s falling apart and he can’t afford repairs 3. Since he refied it again 5 years ago it will never be paid off. Unless he lives to 97 and the second is still a problem 4. He’s filed bankruptcy twice but his recent medical bills are outrageous. 5. His wife had t worked in 20 years and needs medical attention but she doesn’t have any insurance so they can’t do a thing for her 6. What’s pathetic is he has the ability to ignore most of these problems and watch TV all day long. She is stressed beyond belief and since she’s almost 300 lbs I don’t think she will live much longer and she is a wonderful person. He is 320 lbs. 7. Repairs: Plumbing is really bad and one bathroom can’t be used. The house sits on a concrete foundation and the plumbing is encased in the concrete. Ain’t no lie. The yard is dead. The roof is getting bad. They’ve kept cats through the years a the carpet looks awful. The house has no grounded AC outlets, 2 prong only. That’s a couple of the major issues.

Same everything, even age. To top it off I started doing Door Dash and Uber eats, making a minimum of $100 a day, three weeks into it I had a minor accident, (not while working) and my insurance company totaled my car. The airbags didn’t even deploy. I was counting on doing the gig work the rest of the year in that car, it got over 32 mpg even with 167k miles on it. Got a used van, it gets 17-18 mpg, so delivering isn’t nearly as appealing, BUT, the car lot I bought my van from hired me, and I’m learning a whole new career. The pay isn’t great, but I dash a few hours a week here and there to add to the bottom line. I did get the van though because the price was right, and if push comes to shove, I can live in it. 🤷‍♀️

I think these videos help outsiders make decisions about where they can move in New York. NY cost of living is beyond stupid...so it’s good to see the options. Thanks!!!

I recommend stopping all this Dumpster Diving behavior, i knew a guy who became kinda obsessed doing that & ended up getting bugs ( destroyed everything ) Sometimes you don’t see them & think whichever item your GETTING FROM DUMPSTER seems offical…They can be inside the shit!!! Then once you bring your new treasure inside they disperse!!

How can I find SROs within this price range in NYC? I searched Craiglist and other apartment finder sites with no luck. Currently I am living in a co-living apartment in Brooklyn but far prefer to have my own totally private SRO in which I can also cook.

Hey, nice video! I remember watching this when it first came out a year ago. I tried connecting with a broker who could help me locate an SRO of a similar size under 100sqft. It’s been a while now and I still haven’t had any luck. Could you help me adjust my strategy to locate something like this, since it seems like the market is really tiny and I have no idea how to navigate it. Thanks!

Ffs!... those dogs are not yours?... as a dog walker, why are you subjecting them to such a confined space??!!... I may not have all the info here but what the f$%k?

What's fucked is that....I just watched your other video and all I saw under the comments were people who totally complimented and supported you, yet you chose to place your focus on the negative ones. This is KZbin....the negative comments probably came from pimply tweens with braces, lol

Typical New Yorkers. They think it's fake and $1.00 bills in today's economy is chump change

It’s only $1 and looks fake with the ad. Free money in hundreds would have stopped me out of curiosity -I would have tried returning them to you. Lol Best of luck on your business.

I started watching this -- had to quit. That space is too small for three dogs, even if you do take them outside occasionally, there is not enough space for them to be active otherwise in between being outside - plus you are just weird. Instead of having two separate rooms there, why not have one larger space with a corner dedicated to your little business? Surely you don't need that much space for a dog-walking business. Weird weird weird.
