Looks like you got a good start. I have this car on my to do list, so I'm watching your build for inspiration. Good info on the krud kutter and keeping the model clean and dust free. Good luck with the rest of the build!

Wood Brothers cars have always been my favorites, I have two, with, what I now know is the wrong color red! Can't wait to see the final. Greetings from SE Idaho.

It’s been a learning experience for me with the correct colors. I give credit to Tom Mooty, a resident expert. The early cars were candy apple red, and later on they shot clear gold flake and a pearl over the top. Come to find out, model master put out a specific color for that color that’s spot on, kiln red. It has a beautiful gold flake in it.

Love the Gaahleri products, I just picked up another air brush on Prime day for $32! I also ordered some paint samples from them to try out so I have some high hopes for those too.

Glad to have you back. Gotta love those 60's stock cars. Do you think the krud kutter would work as a paint stripper ? i've had some Boyd enamel parts in the purple pond for weeks now, just barely bubbling the paint. And some Tamiya painted parts as well, which continue to mock me. I've tried Simple green with the Tamiya paints, which worked somewhat, but the gloss black is not being touched. Frustrating. Thanks for posting

I use a product called CRS. I did a video on it last year. It’s expensive, but it took everything off including 2K poly clear. A friend of mine swears by dot3 brake fluid.👍
