Benny's music something that you rarely hear nowadays. Interesting, non-repetitive and just great tunes and lyrics. He's certainly got his distinctive "sound". But I would never had found it without this vlog. All this is a kind of a new format for me. The vlog tells something about you on microscopic level: what you eat for dinner, what Alan is doing and Emily's business of making vegetables with eyes. It's like your life is one art exhibition containing music, adorable little things and thoughts, food, cats, nature... and I can't even describe it. It's something completely new for me.

I really like your channel. You guys are mellow and just act normal and not “act” for the camera , always pretend to be happy or try to be sexy or whatever. Some narrowboat channels are a bit over the top with trying to make their channel successful. I also like that you have good boundaries with your neighbors and know when to move down the canal and when to be social. I think many people could watch and learn! I also love that Alan is the star of the show and the center of your world. She deserves it. Good job guys.

I wish Google would hire a bunch of boats to do a "canal view" ans add it to their maps. I would absolutely love to take a virtual canal tour when I need a break from the world. My wife and I had plans to retire in the UK on the canals, I have been dreaming of doing that for at least 40 years. People say it's never too late, but it is unfortunately because so much has changed in the world. We almost made that move about 10 years ago, things changed quickly though and that window unfortunately closed. It's why I so enjoy watching these canal videos, and it's even nicer when I find such lovely people as you to follow along with. Thanks as always for sharing, happy journey's.

We arrived back in UK on 5th Sept and were there until 30th - pretty much the hot spell. (Now back in the tropics.) For us 26 is cool and yet hot. We are used to 35 by day and 26 by night and high humidity but the country is set up for it - everywhere you go there is aircon. All cars have it too and houses largely have aircon and will always have fans. People go to shopping malls to cool down. All offices have aircon too. The cool air out of an aircon is typically around 8 degrees C, so even though we set the thermostat at 24 we sleep in the direct flow of air so it is cooler than the average for the room. This means that the first 10 days back in UK were hard for us to sleep - no fan, let alone air con. It was great during the day though. Hot in the sun but with lovely breezes, low humidity and the lower sun angle means more shade available if required. Enjoy it while it lasts. It's October now, so it won't last much longer.

Almost 80 F is not really hot to us in Ky. , but depends on breezes and humidity and sunshine. Now, what IS too hot for me is 85F and up. SOME say they LOVE 90, but I just think there is something terribly wrong with them! Chilly is 50, and getting cold is below that. ZERO F is REALLY, really cold, but -5 is freezing, cover the face, nose, ears, neck, body, and hands, COLD.

Make sure that the spray foam is Fireproof 😮 Some of them foams tend to 'blow up' in case of a small fire❤
