Thanks for the great footage of the 15. I have both a Potter 15 and 19. Love them both. You can't beat the short set up time of the 15 - its even faster than my Lido 14 (I have Lidos too - I admit that I am a sailboat addict!). The 19 has significantly greater set up time but it is a faster boat and more responsive than the 15 due to its length to width ratio.

Just subscribed. Don't sweat the "feeling like an idiot" feeling. Even experienced sailors have there moments and they aren't on a learning curve. Enjoy your Potter!

I posted a vid of a terrible departure from a dock. I am not the best helmsman, and with the flukey wind it was ugly. Yesterday I had my tailer too deep and my boat didnt sit on it right.

The boomvang... just got a wwp15 and noticed mine doesn't have one. (Older model potter. 1981) I'm sure I'll be fine without it. Any comments/input for me?

Hey A Person, I like the name! My first and only other boat I've owned was a hobie monocat which is basically an old Hobie Bravo. I had it out six times and then was dismasted in a storm close to shore. Since then I've spent alot of time going the OPB route (Other people's boats) Most of my experience has come from Harbor 20's and a Tartan 33. I also use to crew in races on a J105. What do you sail??? And sorry for the severe delay in responding!

Backing your trailer will get easier with practice..use your mirrors and try not to look over your shoulder out the back window.
