I was working in an art class at a high school. The teacher allowed several students to select music for the class to listen to during class time on KZbin. Then the teacher said my turn and with a grin selected Tip Toe Through the Tulips. Both he and I started to laugh, he' s a few years older. The students expressions were priceless

Laugh In brought Tiny to incredible national prominence. The entire cast was used to introduce him in this appearance. Truly amazing phenomenon.

He brought a lot of old standards back into mainstream consciousness. That was Mr. Khaury's chief contribution.

Tiny tim was an unusual person that carved a niche out for himself and created a tremendous following in show business. He was a musical archivist who recreated old standards from the early 20 century. He performed until his death on stage in the 1990s. They say he was a very kind human being RIP Tiny Tim.

In my opinion, the name Tiny Tim is synonymous with the word icon. The man was definitely a talented musician, singer, and performer. Although he was known for singing in his trademark falsetto voice, Tiny actually had quite a wide vocal range. Additionally, he could play a variety of musical instruments. Tiny Tim is sadly missed yet fondly remembered.

I was around then; Tiny Tim was in the right place at the right time - even Ed Sullivan couldn’t understand his EXTREME popularity …

I must admit his singing was quite good.

I remember it from K Tel. Now when I'm alone in our warehouse with a broken Kubota, I sing: Liftow, fix our forklift, Fix our forklift.....if you pleeeease!"

That’s a great idea. As it turns out, my cockatiel Chipper has become a fan of Tiny Tim. He starts whistling and talking every time I put on a video of him singing or if I start singing “Tiptoe through the Tulips” in his style.

* When we 1st saw him we thought he was a Laugh In cast member doing a goofy character. But Noooooooo ... He was for real!

Search "Tiny Tim & The Enchanted Forest Earth Angel" on KZbin for a performance on Ed Sullivan. He switches back and forth between his baritone voice (sounds a lot like Elvis!) and his signature falsetto.
