Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is the perfect crossover for The Oxventure crew as both are absurdly funny and steeped in the D&D format. As for the game itself, a lot of people are upset it's not doing something new other than the setting, but that's the point. It's borderlands inside pseudo D&D. It's what made the first Tiny Tina's DLC so popular, people wanted a standalone game from it.

The Oxventure crew have a much more natural sense of comedy. This, just like the rest of Boarderlands, just relies on it's "zany xD" moments "epic whacky moments".

*snork* I know little about Borderlands, and not that much about DnD, but this looks like a fun adventure for someone who loves both -- or at least loved Tiny Tina's previous DLC on the subject of Bunkers and Badasses. :) Stabbomancer is just such a good name, too. XD

On the goblin-murder: Jar helpfully points out you don't have to worry about killing them, because they are "traitors to goblinkind", which is always a reassuring thing to hear from trustworthy characters.

It's just that BL doesn't usually give a reason for the killing beyond 'they're a jerk/for fun/for loot/because they literally asked for it'. This justification makes me suspicious of Jar. On the other hand, this being BL, maybe Jar gets smooshed by a big rock 5 minutes down the line.

3:50 you can get close to a light machine gun in D&D. Please note I am not a power builder and this was a very quick build to see what I could do with it. Step 1) Artificer up to level three take the Artilerist subclass for an arcane turret. Step 2)take two levels in fighter for action surge allowing for two shots per a turn. Step 3) Reach lvl nine Artificer and learn haste to double your attacks per a round. Take all remaining levels in fighter for the extra attacks they get at level 5+11 With haste active by total level 11 you can shoot twice a round four times with action surge, level 14 that increases to four and eight and at level 20 it becomes six and twelve. You can only use action surge on one turn per a long rest but on that turn you have two shots a second with a maximum damage output of 12d8+12*intelligence modifier (156 maximum damage with maxed out inteligence 108 with median rolls) all of this with not critical hits. Plus you have access to the Artificer spell list which is huge and the other Artificer abilities make it pretty hard for you to miss.

I would be surprised about the concept of exploding barrels actually giving you health, except I'm currently playing a TTRPG where a character has a mech that fires missiles which heal you, so I'm kinda used to it now
