Tiny Vermont Treehouse Sleep Pod- Built for under $200

Built for under $200, this tiny Vermont sleep pod of mini treehouse resides on the 10 acre spread where "Tiny House Summer Camp" a fully hands-on Tiny House Building Workshop is held each year. This coming year will be year 13 for us! There are links below if you wish to join us to work on projects, camp out, hear from guest speakers, see live demos and more! As for the treehouse, it's a simple prefabricated build we erected in the woods many years ago and its still holding up well- check out this little jaunt into the woods where we show you what it looks like and talk about how and why it was built.

Anything you can put out would be great Deek! Your books have inspired me to stop being so OCD and build a raised pallet cabin with a deck. It looks wonky from all sides but we love it nonetheless. What I appreciate about your vids and books is that they have such little financial outlay and tend to bridge the gap between a basic cubby and the much more expensive tiny homes. As they generally can't meet permit requirements, we are all freed from a system of taxes, insurances and paperwork and instead at liberty to rummage the local tip as the crazy designs and problem solving begin to take shape. In Australia, timber prices require you to either have a mill or send your firstborn to the coal mines. I know it may be outside of your skill set but I'd love to see anything you have or know on using rammed earth, cob etc. and amalgamating it with your timber techniques. I don't think there's anything out there on the Tube that showcases this. Bless you mate and thanks for all your hard work and inspiring content! In this cost of living crisis you genuinely could be keeping families warm and dry.

Its basically what the back/other wall is. I might make the next one a little taller though so that there is more sitting room/height inside (and more leaning room on the back end). Thanks for checking out the video too. Happy Holidays
