1:59 yes, it's a solid-state, Class D power output section, with a NuTube preamp, which makes this a hybrid amp. And no, D does NOT stand for "digital", it is just the next letter in the nomenclature standard for amplifier classes, which determines the efficiency of the amplifier in turning power consumption into power delivered at it's output.

I'm not sure how much this impacts overall volume, but through that 16ohm PRS cabinet, you're only getting 12.5 watts. Through an 8ohm cab would be 25 watts. You'd need to use a 4ohm cab to get the full 50 watts.

Yes that is accurate. We ran it through a few different Ohm cabs. Landed on the PRS cab and loved the tone.

Pretty sure the boost switch on the MV50 Is a Treble Booster, not the top boost switch. Bri always runs the guitar straight into a Treble boost and then off to whatever comes next in the chain. Might get the AC15 and the AC30 more in that same “biting” tone kind of area. Either way, love content like this as a Fan of Brian and Queen. Just picked up an older AC30 myself and I’m having fun tone chasing with it.

​@@rookhouserecordingsounds great! i have a heavily modified red special replica to be like the original(basically all the stuff of the original) kat treble booster plush who nake Brian's strap treble boosters sn the one in the mv50 too. i use a line 6 pod go with my custom impulse responses of Brian mays mic position ing, speakers he uses and the AC 30 normal channel with all his presets from his tc electronic g major 2 box that has exact settings of harmonizers, delays, chorus and the ac30 normal channel.

​@@rookhouserecordingjust to check you definitely had a three way splitter after the treble booster? i use the proper rig recreated digitally with the pod go. my presets are copied from Brians exact live rig including the same mics 421s, ac30 fawn normal channel celestion blue and g12h anniversary speakers together plus the exact harmonizers, chorus and delay settings from his tc g major 2 processing unit. sounds great;)
