States need to start changing laws around building codes. Making them okay as an ADU only helps people who already have homes. There are SO many seniors living in cars, it's shameful. Many people could be housed if they simply made these LEGAL.

Why would they ever allow people to be able to afford to fully own a home without destroying their financial future? Isn't it always things that would make our lives easier and more affordable that they tend to demonize and ban?

Beautiful setting, beautiful tiny space! Using a shed is so practical. There is no reason it couldn't be a permanent tiny home option. It's 60 sq ft larger than my home. The floor plan, design, and finishes are all good choices. Thanks for the tour! 💗

Since it's a corner where you can't do much with, I think that the burners works okay, but it is a bit awkward. Shorter people would have trouble cooking on it without something to stand on. I wish I would have gotten a 6 or 8 foot porch on my cabin instead of a 4 foot one. The swing is WAY too big for that porch.

I have reached out to more people then I can think of , asking them why they’re allowing the middle class to be pushed out by the rich where I live (stupid question lol but I wanted to hear their answer. I didn’t get one!) Long story short. My husband works 2 jobs as do I. Our oldest son doesn’t live at home and our younger son is still with us. We have 2 months to find a place in a tourist town. No we did not wait until the last minute we had an agreement in January with who were going be renting to. and their landlord kept changing the date and then decided she was selling once she heard what she could get. This could literally change our lives. We have to buy an 800 sq foot house, just to keep a roof over our head- how long. Who knows if we can make the payments. I’m already saving up for an RV just in case. But I will have a very large yard, and we would love nothing more than a tiny home we can see the world with and then decide where we want to park it for good. Aside from the adventure, I would do without it if it means we had a home. Small or not. This getting ridiculous NJ YOU HAVE TO BETTER. YOU KILLED THE MIDDLE CLASS

nobody ever talks about it, but as someone who rents out your tiny home, Clay Baby, do you ever worry about someone bringing bedbugs or lice into the home? I love how you did the inside by the way:)

That porch swing is ridiculously wrong. The stove will burn the place down. Other than that, definitely livable.

Where does the waste water go? This seems like a campground with sewage etc but I am wondering how it would work as a mother-in-law suite in a yard?

It is super easy to frame out/build popouts that significantly increase the area of these tiny houses. For example, putting in a 4' x 2' popout in the bathroom to place the sink in will make the bathroom be and feel so much roomier.
