Glacial crevasses are insane. I met this guy Jim Davidson at an event where he told the story of how he and his friend fell to the bottom of one. He somehow survived the fall and had to spend hours climbing up the walls alone, knowing no one would ever find his body if he didn't make it out. Absolutely wild stuff. He has a book about it called "The Ledge" and also has one called "The Next Everest" about when he was climbing Everest and an earthquake hit, causing a scenario similar to the movie Everest but even dealier.
