When my friend was in high school, she worked in a mall, in a store across from a pet store. She could see the entire POS and therefore the person speaking on the store phone. Whenever there was a new employee, she would call the store and ask if they had some kind of exotic animal. My favorite was the day I stopped by. She sent me over to the pet store to loiter at the POS while she called. The phone rang, the kid picked it up and she asked "do you sell Tasmanian devils?" 😂
