Thank you! Am a big fan, just got started with driving. No problem with ORT or NY traffic. Understand the concept of backing but it's different when you're pressured to hurry. Lol! When I have to park, the yards are impatient and no one wants to wait or help. Have to get it in and out of the way. Have to be pro-active with learning, no one will help most of the time. Love the job but like anything, you'll learn. Thanks again. Be safe fellas!

I always found people will help, but only if you ask. I have never been turned down, and yes, even I ask for a spotter from time to time.

Hi ! My safety supervisor would chew you out for palming the steering wheel to make those sharp turns. But you might chew me out for spinning the wheel with my finger. Chew me out all you like. I've been doing this for 44 years and I am too set in my ways to change now. LOL ! Love your well done videos. You take the time to cover everything. Good job !

Heaps of work. Good for you. It's that part around 9:00 that gives me cringes when I can't see that van in my right mirror. Then again I almost never have to parallel park. Not part of my class 1 exam a year ago either.
@SternDrive5 жыл бұрын
I always see my van on the right no matter the angle. I adjust my mirrors away farther out than most, and never above the horizon. You are not going to run into yourself ( I hope) and you do not need to see airplanes, sky and birds. Maximize your field of view and things will not disappear so much. Or in my case not at all.
@jerrytruckn4 жыл бұрын
Part of my final processing we do that offset parallel into a lane. Not the “normal” parallels park. I hate it because not only do we have to be in the lane we have to show daylight between all for barrels on the corners of the lane.

Like your video a lot. Can you do video parallel on the left. Thank you.
@lazaroibarra84643 жыл бұрын
Parallel parking. Do it once. Never ever do it again. Thirty seven years cdl holder. It was class a then. I have been diving for so long, that when I started, when you went vinto the restaurant at the truck stop there were two sides. One for drivers, one for the public. It was so long ago that you didn't call the company name on the cb radio.
@Kman.4 жыл бұрын
If you would refer to your mirrors each time by saying, "We are focusing on the *RIGHT* mirror here..." instead of just saying "THIS" mirror ;) I say that because the video has a _loooooot_ going on with it, and as you know, that when you're backing, your head/eyes are always moving left/right/etc. Great information though by the way
