@Swamp Yankee The championship will now begin in October with the All-Ireland final scheduled for the 13 December as for now but that could change it would be nice to see Kilkenny and Tipperary in the Final once again been close neighbours.

Kilkenny have 36 mostly because of the poor opposition in Leinster going back through the decades until Offaly made the breakthrough in 1980, by 2000 they and wexford were gone again so it was business as usual for KK in getting easy entry to the all ireland semis.

Very soft red card you can see that Richie judged it for a shoulder to shoulder tackle but Barrett stepped back which made the tackle high and the slippy conditions of the pitch weren’t taken into account

The guy that hogan hit should have got a red card earlier in the game when he struck him in the face and drew blood ( if we’re applying the same technical logic) . Katie Powell i couldn’t remember cathals name, but he’s a good hurler I’ve watched him for years. I don’t mind that you disagree but I’m simply stating a fact, any strike above the shoulder is s sending off, that’s the rule. There’s no denying that the decision decided the outcome of the game. Should it not be harder for you to be so sure of the outcome after Kilkenny records the last 15 years? personally I don’t know who’d have one had he not been sent off but I knew the second he was sent off that tipp would win easily. Two great teams who always put on a show, maybe we can agree on that 😉

KING FLIX the game was level when he was sent off and Tipp were slaughtered by limerick in Munster final who Kilkenny beat in a savage match. Kilkenny lost two games both went to the wire between Wexford and Galway, I remember both well. I’m not saying what way the match would of went but it definitely was harsh red and definitely sealed it for tipp.
