Since meme Bofur returned I have started drinking whenever you say the words streamlined or, "free win" or, complain about balance. It is a good thing that waht I am drinking is my morning coffe or my liver would have run away. This was the first game in a while that I just drank at my own pace. Good to see you enjoying yourself.

I wonder if HS would ever balance animations to be more fluid. I get that there has to be a handicap so micro doesn't get out of hand but surely the solution isn't these horrendously slow animations. Great video as always :)

First glance I tought refresh mech were bad, but then I remember The double quest, which made it work beautifully. If you did not have the spellcraft quest, what quest would you choose?

other option bad :) Fr tho, this video was long enough as it was w/ turn timers scaling w/ animations. It was almost an hour in real time.

Haven't finished the vid but @ 21:30 why throw away the gold spell when you still have plenty of hand space? It technically adds 2 more boxers to the pool because minions goldened through the spell still only count as one (correct me if I'm wrong, not 100 on that one). Simplifying the hand is good for sure too but the potential upside of it just seems so much better to keep it. Anyways that was a baller mech game, love the ridiculous gold animations XD

And before anyone says "it's just a couple stats for too much time" It would be an extra 30 percent scaling for 4 turns which is thousands in stats in just those 4 turns alone. Would be an insane amount by the end of the game as it's an increase on the exponent which is always a massive increase rather than increasing your base value(which is why I think 20/20 is not worth after you have more than 50 or so gold, but selling out a shop is worth it to increase your exponent)

spell doesn't work that way (pool corrects itself next turn, similar to reno hero power afaik) and it's really an efficiency problem. Do I want to trip over the card board after board after board. It's upside is super low and it's downside is lowered efficiency. plus you need upwards of 6-8 slots when u get 100g+ when you're looking for every triple, as you want to hold the golden stack until you find the next golden to know which card to place it upon. Most importantly, it's just stats. Once you're at a point of multiple golden boxers, that stack is huge already. We don't really care about that specific boxer being doubled in value. It's upside would be more that you could get easier access to 3x individual bodies on the board, but that's too far out from where we were there. It's just simply not worth thinking about in these scenarios. Simplify and move fast will give better averages.
