WoW such a brilliant video sadly recalling the immense suffering of the the people during the civil war. The photos are fabulous showing a visual history. Its so sad that Irelands history is written in the blood of its people when father fought son and brother against brother.

wonderful to watch wonder where the Maid of Slievenamon is buried. Hand ball Alley and the dances were a lot of fun for the young at that time

Mr james gibbs was a projectivist who visited towns and villages showing the films of the time..he must surely be a connection of the Gibbs.?
