Let’s take a few unfinished tags and complete them, even down to the fluffy pulls on top. Along the way, I share some tips on how to make the whole process easier and actually get them done!
A couple of things I reference in this video:

If you’re looking for more junk journal ponderings…. Last summer, I made a limited-series podcast about all my deep thoughts regarding junk journaling. It’s free on the Spotify app! Search for “Ordinary Paper” or link here:
podcasters.spotify.com/pod/da...
Note that in the first episode, I mention that I was doing a podcast because I didn’t think I had enough ideas for a KZbin channel. Things (happily) went a different way, so ummm, never mind on that!

I love the idea of a tiny stamp on the reverse side of the tags. Thanks for the idea. ❤

This is one of my favorites, Anne. I absolutely loved the two tags we saw you create, but how clever of you to do the others you did after taping on your before and after at the end. You’re so clever, Anne. Thanks, my dear sister!

I really love using napkins over book page. I love the brightness of your floral napkin. As I was watching your video I was cutting up some cardstock scraps so that I can make some tags and journal cards tomorrow. You inspired me to clean up some of the scraps and make those tags and journal cards. Thank you for sharing❤😊.

Oh, wow, what a sweet thing to say - you're so thoughtful, thank you! Each one took a little longer to do than expected, so I was glad for the chance to just finish others and then share the pix - glad that worked for you. I did end up getting a lot done! Thanks for watching!

Cute tags, Anne, as well as the before-and-after tags you shared at the end. Great tips too. I like to stamp on the backs of my tags as well ; it's like a little surprise when you turn the tag around. Have a great day!

Wow! Did those tags get fully dressed up! I liked each one - the imagination in the bird nest and eggs, the little partial bird on back! So sweet! The most daring completion? The floral napkin! I’m glad you went with the sunflower alone. I was doubtful about it but once completed, beautiful! And the fold over portions? Just perfect! The before and after of the others were great! Oh and I like the way you tied off the fabric and lace ribbons! Some great inspiration! I need a bowlful of incomplete tags first! 🤭 speaking of bowl … the handmade bowl in its first full length video! 😊 nice! Nice! Loved the Fred Flintstone boulder reference too! Ya ba daba DO! (May autocorrect leave that alone!) ❤TFS!

Brilliant tip to use a gift card as a template for making tags. First time here, really enjoyed your tutorial and tags. The metal punch, what is it called & where can it be purchased? Glue you use? This is new to me, glad you showed up on my feed❤🥰 Thx. Brenda
@annekenlon
@annekenlon 4 ай бұрын
Thanks so much! 😊 So happy you're here! The punch is the Crop-a-Dile Big Bite 2 - you can find it on Amazon but if you have access to a JoAnn's or a similar craft store, you may be able to get a better deal. I think they're running around $40 now - pricey but worth it. I think I used two types of glue - a UHU glue stick for thin papers and Art Glitter Glue for slightly thicker stuff or spot-gluing. There's no glitter in Art Glitter Glue - that's just the brand name. It's a strong, fast-drying paper-to-paper glue and I also get it on Amazon or from the online store called "MayMay Made It" (I like their service) - I purchased the metal tip separately, as it helps me apply a very thin stream of glue and I use less overall. Hope this helps, and thanks for watching!
