Well done , but i would like to see more complicated tooth restoration such as a severely decayed tooth
@mimme86421 күн бұрын
At @39:03 if this kind of decay was hard, do we leave it? Or does it have to look light brown? How do we decide if it’s enough of cleaning?

Use caries detection die. We have a kore recent webinar on the use of caries detection die for caries management. The idea is that you measure the depth of the preparation. 5mm from the cusp to central area is deep and you want to be careful. If the tooth has normal response (not hypersensitive) you want to maintain vitality, so if there is some caries on the pulpal floor, just leave it. But you need to have a clean peripheral seal zone (2mm from the DEJ). Hope this helps.

We should put glicerin befor final light curing ?? And how many second we should wait??
@romerodentalseminars Жыл бұрын
Yes, before LC and no waiting, just cure through it and rinse.

Thank you for sharing! I wonder do you tack cure these increments and do a final full cure? Or do you do full cure 20s+ for each increment?

hello Dr ROMERO thank you for sharing:) may i ask you which armamentarium do you exactly suggest for the composite built up ? do you suggest to uses brushes also? another question please, once you remove the old restoration or caries will you clean /disinfect he cavity with medication like hydrogen peroxide? thank you a lot greetings from Uk

Hi, thanks for your questions. 1. I use brushes only for anterior composites. Even though I don’t use them for posterior Restorations, it is not a bad idea to use. 2. Cleaning of the preparation is completed using Bisco’s cavity cleanser (CHX). This helps with inhibition of MMP’s. Hope this helps.

What's your prefer posterior and anterior composite brand? Thanks.
@romerodentalseminars3 жыл бұрын
Hi William, they are many good composites out in the market but I use (and prefer) Brilliant EverGlow from Coltene and Harmonize from Kerr. Thanks for watching. Mario
