Tips and Tricks for Roofing Around Dormers

Thanks for the tips! I usually use an old pair of tin snips for cutting asphalt around dormers and valleys. Especially during the winter months because they're more difficult to cut due to the cold.

I've got 3 feet below my dormers so it should be easy to keep my lines matching over my dormers. I finally noticed what u ment about a dormer going to the edge. Thanks

With 3 tabs when I have to meet at a dormer top I found that I count and make sure it's an even number in terms of courses. Hope that makes sense. It's always helped me. 3 tabs are tricky but look beautiful when installed correctly.

You skipped HOW TO integrate the shingles from the (our) left side With the shingles in the dormer!!! Did d you weave them under(no?) or trim each dormer end at an angle parallel to the valley line?????
