Good stuff Donald! I didn't know the bit about the foot angle. I always assumed they were supposed to be flat against the pegs because... well they're flat lol 😂. Never really felt comfortable either I feel like my feet naturally try to gravitate to this position as I'm paddling and I was fighting them to stay flat.

Thanks Matt!! Sometimes our bodies will tell us what needs to be in a certain position but our brains try to argue. A few reasons they are flat, but one major one is that it actually gives more surface area for a more people because of various things like foot width, foot length, kayak width, position of pegs on the Kayaks, etc. if they were made with an angle, they may not fit on as many Kayaks and negate the universal aspect these types of foot pegs.

Another informative video. Nice paddle, by the way. Thinking about getting one like that. Maybe you could do a video about paddles some time.

Thank you!! I may do a separate video on paddles. I did do a little bit on them in my Gift Buying Guide for kayaking video. I talk a little about this paddle

@@videojoe7 I will probably use Bending Branches as visual examples, but highlight the differences in materials, construction, weight, etc. as a general topic, so C across as many brands as possible.
