How do you open build mode easier on xbox?

I'm not exactly sure. I have not tried on console yet. But my guess is there isn't a short cut to open build mode and you'll have to go through the menu to open it.

Hello. Thx for this video. How do I lay grass or gravel on part of a field that I have cultivated but have not seeded? I want to put a sheep pen down and some green houses. Thx.

Pull up your landscaping and then select paint. In there are your base paints, and they will vary on maps as modded maps will have custom paints in there. You can play around with those to pain what you want. You do need to own that field or have the paint/teriform anywhere mod. After you place your buildings down, smooth the area and paint it, you can then go to plants and select grass to paint grass back in over the grass paint base you did.

How can you convert painted surface back to be a field?

You need a plow for that, if you look into the plows section you see some of them have an extra option: They can be used to create fields.. This is also used for connecting two (or more) fields..and to reverse the painted field into a normal field again.

@@subwaymallorca Do you know how to use the foil on the pottinger ball impress 185vc pro? Am i stupid or is it buggy and cant use foil? The description in the shop said it can do it and it shows the foil on the thing.

@@phoenixsui I don’t own one of those but by the looks of it (as it shows both optional bales in the store) that by entering it’s menu selecting the balepress it has the option to change which bales you want. Maybe L1 and triangle on PS4/5??

@@subwaymallorca So i found out the big bales dont work and the middle ones are directly in foil. Its as many things very poorly explqained in the game. Very poorly. :(

You should be able to edit on console as well. Landscaping is in the building section. You should be able to look up the controls in game, as I'm not sure of the controls for console off the top of my head.

There was in fs19, it was a placeable water. Right now there is a new land terraforming mod for pc that can allow you to dig the ground and get water to move to different spots where you dig. As far as I've seen there is not a mod yet to place down water.

Go into building mode, under buildings select container and the fuel tanks are the first 3 options. Once you place one down, you have to pay to fill it up with fuel, then use the other trigger to pull your equipment up next to refill.

Me discussing how to use the new map editor and my opinions on how to make a better/more realistic farm when building in game... the whole video was a laid back how to. Custom farm building isn't about me telling you how to build it, it's about ideas to think about to improve your own creative build on your save game. And me teaching how to use the editor in game was to help people better understand the tools they have to build it without making an entire area completely flat. Those flat builds look terrible and are unrealistic.

I'll check out Westby for FS22 when it comes out to see if I can make a similar farm to what I did in FS19. Go watch my Westby series for FS19. I made that farm completely from scratch. It was a bare hillside with some fields when I started.
