i love the bit about "winter content"! i totally get it! i don't do it with all of my shows, but avatar the last airbender to me is a show i watch around march-april just as winter is melting, because it starts out wintery and cold with the book of water, and ends up warmer for later seasons. it just makes sense to me lol

I am originally from central Ohio... but 14 years ago, I moved to Tucson, Arizona. Our winters here are super mild. We've had snow maybe 4 times in the 14 years I've been here. I do often miss Ohio winters. I also used to figure skate, so I naturally love the cold anyways. But for winter here in AZ, I have certain clothes I'll only wear during winter. I'll also wear boots, scarves, and lovely jackets. I like the idea of reading and watching cozy things for winter. Maybe it can help me relive some of my childhood Ohio winters. As a Wisconsin boy, I love the winter. That’s not stopping me from building a second home in Florida, though. So glad you love Eurovision! That movie is so awesome! I loved winter when I lived in the US(South Dakota), the thing is because of climate change, the winters here in Europe(Prague) are more and more mild(muddy Christmas instead of white )...I miss the snow so much...I'm like a child when it snows.

Outlander, yesss!! (My favorite show!) Thank you for sharing your tips and tricks for enjoying Winter. I've always loved the Winter aesthetic, but it's always been a challenge to enjoy it because I'm very sensitive to the cold air (I literally start to feel cold symptoms if my neck and chest are exposed to the cold air for not even thirty minutes). Begin born and raised in Southern California probably hasn't helped. Lol. I'm definitely going to try the meditation trick, though. and try to find some nice winter-specific clothes. 😊

I live in Wisconsin and winter has always been my least favorite season, but last night I went ice skating with my family and it was so much fun!! For me it helps to think about stuff I can do in winter that I can't do in any other season :)

I’m having the opposite problem at the moment! It’s summer in Australia and it’s heatwave after heatwave at the moment. Some people love it but I feel like I need to hibernate through the summer to survive! We have super mild winters (no snow!) so I’ve never been a winter hater.

I'm Australian too and I totally agree, I get summer blues not winter blues. I try to think about all the iced drinks I can have in summer and how it's easier to get out of bed when it's warm.

I loved this video! I also used to have an obsession with Alaska, but I think it's because a teacher in elementary school did a whole month of Alaskan-themed everything: stories, crafts, etc., and it was so fun!

I would love to love winter, but where I live, all we have is a perpetual late fall from December till March. It snows maybe twice a year, other than that it's just muddy with lots of cold rain and everything looks depressing. Snow makes everything look amazing! But without it winter really just sucks. Especially if you go everywhere by bike because you're a broke ass student.

great timing, i just got back on campus. where i was over break it was in the 50s and 60s, and now im on a great lake where it's in the 20s and 30s with our good friend wind chill. i love winter, it was just a shock to the system lol. i was initially dreading walking to dinner (only dining hall that's open right now is across campus) but you reminded me how fun it is to walk in the snow!

Great tips! I also like winter and autumn a lot. I'm good with cold weather but not as much with warm weather. XD A youtuber you might also want to check out is Kalle Flodin, who lives in a forest in Sweden and who also has to deal with winter in a tiny little cottage that's a hundred years old or so. It's also nice that he has new videos out regularly so it's always seasonal when you watch what his life is like at that time. A very cozy witch that I watch on youtube is AlwynOak and she has the COZIEST videos all year around. But especially during winter it's great to watch with a cat on your lap and a cup of hot cocoa in your hands. Where I live we have a lot of rainy winter, which is not as romantic as snowy winter. (Ugh) I also love to crochet in winter - great activity for the evenings. I love making dresses for dolls, crocheting them tiny little hats and boots and gloves and scarves and jackets.

Amazing video! I definitely struggle with winter once Christmas is over (honestly spring too because so much of that season seems to be overtaken by winter extending itself lol) but will try to find things uniquely positive about it to enhance. I don't want to view everything I do during winter as just "killing time til spring arrives" (though I do see it as a time to put the work in and plant the seeds for later in the year as there are generally less distractions going on).

Rain is hard! If it's just a sprinkle or a mist, I can put on my water proof gear and have a nice long walk. Misty weather gives my hair the best curls!
