You have completely made my night. You have no idea. It's been a rough day at work and it's hard to give up time from things you love. This message gives me faith

This made me smile a lot. You're certainly an entertaining individual with a great personality :)

I like how you get into this move from a dead stop. I always used them from throws and wibbles. I called them flourishes ya know like the club juggling move. You've taken the concept to a whole new level though so I think I'll take to calling them gunslingers as well. Awesome tutorial man. Definitely the most entertaining I have seen. Cheers!

thank you for posting this! ive seen you doing this move in other videos of yours but you were always doing it so fast that i could never figure out exactly how you were doing it. its really not that complicated or difficult now that youve broken it down and i definitely plan on adding this move to my flow. thanks again. and btw, i thought the scars on your hand(s) looked kickass.

Funny, I've been pretty much doing those forward spiral gunslingers and didn't even know it... Hard to figure out the like weave after it though -_-...
@FlowDaddy9212 жыл бұрын
Exactly! I feel like some people were "let down" to see how easy the approach is for this move. But it isn't about this move, as much as it is about the theory of what you can do behind it. I'm much more into the flowing and fun aspect of spinning. I don't like robot spinners. XD As always, it is a pleasure speaking with you! I'm glad you enjoyed this move!

Dude no worries at all. I stole the idea from seeing somebody doing flourishes with clubs at the prop box 4 or 5 years ago and was like damn that will definitely work with poi. You worked it out yourself. I've got no plans for FD at the moment and things aren't looking to promising. Holy shoot I totally remember meeting you at WF! I never have put it together until you mentioned your mom but damn your right! It seems like that was so long ago... :)

These are called contact poi or pendulum poi. Most of these are an 80mm contact juggling ball attached to a length of nylon rope with a PX3 juggling club handle. I got mine for around 40 bucks with shipping. Quite honestly, this video inspired me to get them. :)
@AlienJon12 жыл бұрын
Yup, there are tons of 'em here in Hong Kong! I dunno man, they all look pretty tough over hear... are you sure you can take em only slingin 2 poi... maybe you need a 3rd. >_^

so far as I can see you only do half of the move stalling out rather than doing a propeller back to the handle I think it's a nice move that way especially with the spiral version. But then I prefer a full propeller any way

the gunslinger grip is pretty awesome, and it's really not hard to learn! it just sucks that there's no real point in it unless your handles have weight on the to counterbalance the poi. i practiced it with my poi which have no weight and it's kind of fun, it just doesn't really give a different look to it when the handles is just flailing mindlessly
@jujubeanser12 жыл бұрын
omg this is wonderful

Baileyyyy!! Yeah, I hadn't seen you do it before, so I hope I don't come across as a punk having named the move and all. I just thought the video and move idea went together so hilariously. Will you be attending FD2013? You were the highlight of my WildFire back in the day, when my mom had to introduce me to you XD
