I have done graffiti in notebooks for 20 years and got an oculus for Christmas. I just did a couple throws in Kingspray and my mind is blown... unreal!!

Practice in ur blackbook builds fundamentals, vr builds muscle memory im blown away how real it feels but no wasted paint anymore

@@crackthecan3970I bought the quest 3 and also got kingspray on steam the tracking wasn’t great I think this is due to the removal of the LED ring on the controllers as quest 2 and previous had the LED ring. What did you guys use when playing kingspray ? Which VR and which version STEAM OR QUEST versions. Thanks

Haven’t been able to really paint or bomb in a while. Got 3 kids now lives going on a better path lol. I got an oculus quest 2 and mannnnnnn, king spray is so on point, feels like you’re actually bombing, can physics and all that. I’m loving it

No, but thats a good idea. Best is to give them all a bash. They work well and you can alternate pressure. its not the same but its a pretty good sim. Must do one. Cheers for the comment.

Yes when you save a file it will save in the kinspray folder. i think its in the folders for each scene (roftop/ bunker etc).

@@joshwilkinson4012 I was the same to be honest. Especially going large scale. To speed things up a little and to get the scale right I use the projector to make some marks and get rough outlines. Then I turn it off projecting on the wall and hold it in my hand. The same you would hold a phone or print out. Its handy for having a reference in there and it speeds things up a little.

Using a projector to quickly scale your drawing is not cheating. I look at it as you are fast forwarding that part. There's this company in New York that paints big realistic ads murals on the side of buildings. They have a similar technique for scaling big pictures on the sides of buildings.

Agree , its just a tool for efficiency just like marking or gridding. I tried using on a canvas before but actually liked gridding a bit more. I found the shadow on the canvas and canvas warping when you put pressure on it a bit of a pain. Cheers for the comment.

It has a different form of the projector, I havent played in a while but last time I did there was at least the stencil setting and reference on the cell phone, you might be able to upload image that cast to the wall but ive definitely never seen the projector system this way

Yeah there is no way to port pics from your comp onto the OQ2 version, only pc vr. The quest 2 version is more polished and is getting more updates, and I'm assuming will continue to be their focus, but the pc vr version is the only way you can use the projector. I enjoy both , if you aren't very artistic in terms of drawing things out of your head, I'd suggest the pc vr for this feature, but if you want to just bang out some raw Graff then OQ2 version is the way to go.

I've been writing and bombing for 20 years, done time 5 times due to graffiti, this is a fuckin life saver lol I just got it last night, it's crazy how spot on this shit is, dripsand all, nothing will ever replace the feeling of painting on a roof top with cars and people below, but at least I ain't catching no heat lol

@@alphanine9079 Dude you can not ask for much since the Oculus quest 1 and 2 are compact consoles so they cannot offer much in the graphics section but if you connect it to a pc it is that they can get their maximum potential.

2 Different versions are available. One through steam on pc and one through the oculus store accessed on any oculus headset. Its worth paying for both for different reasons

Hi Shane , I have this game on oculus quest 2, but I wonder if there is a posibility to use the game with the macbook air or this is just for pc?? Also I m trying to stream it directly from the quest 2, but when the game starts audio goes off... can you help me with that?? Thank you

Hey ya. I'm just having a look here on the oculus site. It seems they are optimized for pc although it says they are moving to optimize for Mac. The alternative is to set up a virtual PC on your Mac. I think it's only the latest Mac's are optimized so it might be good to do a little more research here. You could also contact kingspray directly. Re the audio ..it could be the streaming / capture is taking the audio so maybe check the settings here. You might have to manually select what audio you are recording for streaming( game any desktop audio or you talking) . If audio is working then not working then it sounds like an output option somewhere. Hope this helps

Hey. I just came across a thread of Mac users trying to use Adobe medium oculus . On the Mac running Windows you need to open medium in STEAM (presuming the same for kingspray). Seems to be crash errors if you don't. Hope this helps

Sorry for late reply. Just catching up on things I missed. I'm using oculus rift so this is not the same as the Quest so some feature should be a little different. you should have the colour wheel though.

Hey there. Its an older version. The one i have is a few years old. Maybe 4 years ago. I used it about a month ago and its the same so its not been updated on my machine. Also Im using a rift which is teathered to the machine. A standalone headset (not connected) may not have as many features. Not sure though.

Sorry for late response. I'm using oculus rift so this is not the same as the Quest. The right has an undo but only can only do once.

HI there. there should be arrow icons at the top of the pallete menu. I think it will only go back two. Hope this helps.

Sidequest and reference images on Quest 1 - driving me nuts! I have been following many guides, installed Sidequest, enabled myself as a developer - downloaded the 2.0 driver. Windows 10 laptop. What I cannot do is right-click in Install the necessary file in that zip, there simply isn’t the option. I have also allowed file extensions to be viewable. Pleeeeeeease can someone help? I really do need to be able to use reference images. Many thanks guys!

HI. Im not so sure to be honest. Im using windows ten and just have oculas and Kingspray is installed on that. To get reference images I do to my documents folder (C drive) and then the kingsspray folder. Youll see a slection of folders and most of them are the locations you paint in. Put any ref images in the 'MEDIA' folder then they will automaticly show up when you open the projector in KS. th eprojector is on the phone menu. Hope this helps

check you are using basic or pro on the controller menu. I think you can also use the right thumb button beside the joystick

Don't know if bug or feature (definitely feature😇): If you crouch while teleporting.. you stay on the same height.. so.. If you get on the scaffolding anywhere on the roof and crouch teleport to the wall then let go of crouch, you're at the height you were on the scaffold... Makes life easier than dragging stuff everywhere..

Hey Tobias. yes thats the easy way. I was more shwing artists a way of using Kingspray for practising in the the real world. So I outline with the projector as you mentioned and then when thats completed I use the Projecter in my left hand as my reference simiilar to a phone or Print out in the real world. ​@@astraandfadefrrff Me to ! The more you practice the beter you will get. Oh and when you paint in there its like real time so there are no shortcuts. The good thing is that as you get better your painting will get quicker. its great practice for real world walls. just polay around and practice. if its something you want to learn you will get there :) enjoy.
