Dear all ladies, discard those cracked plates glass or cups, koi bat nhi agr ap k jahaiz ka tha toot gya so toot gya, stop accumulating stupid stuff. And yes make a rule that you wont bring a new item in unless you take one out of your kitchen. I know brtan wali dukan is very tempting, but we must hold ourselves back!!! The jam and coffee bottles can hold your spices very good instead of cheap plastic containers. and yes Nadia, the steel strainer is litreally the most multi purpose item. instead of buying 3 plsctic baskets, one strainer is worthwhile. I use strainer to wash veggies, fruits, strain rice or pasta, even it holds brtan when you want to dry them before putting them in cabinets. I want to add that put every item where it is easy to access as per use, those items which you rarely use fit good in upper shelves.

Well said but I just wanted to suggest to use 2 strainers separately for washing vegetables or draining pasta/rice in 1 and washing meat mince in the other as it always tends to stick with strainer even after washing. Just a suggestion.

@@IrimZaheer thats true! what i do is instantly wash the steel strainer with dish liquid after using it for mince ,meat or chicken

Asalaamo alaikum wa rahmatullahe. I give away a lot of stuff and only keep what I use regularly, as in if I haven’t used it for a few months, I think about giving it away/selling it. But honestly, as an older homeschooling mom who,keeps no servants, and wants to do a ton of research work and write books at the same time, I just don’t know how I would manage without my gadgets, especially my dishwasher and hand chopper/blender etc- I love seeing how you manage with so much less and especially your GRATITUDE mashallah. It’s beautiful.

Put those items in a box and on it write the names of the items stored in that box. Put that box away. Check if within a year you didn't get back to that box, then just give it away. Again all these tips are helpful only when we want to work on them and change our past habits. Best wishes! ❤
