Saw your channel while I was researching a scene for a superhero short story, then saw your major/minor. Are you writing any sci-fi/fanasty stories? Do you have anything published? Good luck! Good advice on prologues, mostly because they tend to be info-dumps that don't draw the writer in. As for putting the name in chapter title, that's a reader preference. Personally, it helps me keep straight the POV for the chapter and reminds me of who is who in a new story.

I’ve been working on a literary fiction novel set over the course of a few decades in the late 1900s but unfortunately I haven’t published yet (that’s the dream though)! And thank you so much! Also, good point, labelling the chapters can be helpful in that sense :)

@@MakaylaMacGregor Keep at it! It took me 7 years to write my first book, not counting the decades prior when I just wanted to but wasn't serious about it. If you need another beta reader, I'd be willing to have a look. If your vlogs are an indication of your talent, you should do fine. Good luck!
