While Fraser Island is renowned for its huge long thin beach worms known as “slimies” Moreton Island had a bunch of shorter but thicker beach worms that often needed two hands to extract! Some tips on extracting them even after they “dig in”. Excellent bait for fishing for all sorts of species.
