✨Additional tip: It's always a good idea to keep a notarized copy of your passport/passport translation, migration card, and registration with you at all times, or at least the pdf version. You never know when you might need them, and it's better to be safe than sorry. Even though they may not ask for the originals, it's always a good idea to have them with you just in case!

The queues in Russia are the worst. And I don't understand why. I went through a lot of bureaucratic processes in Turkey as a foreigner and even though the lines were very long everywhere I never waited more than 30 minutes. Public workers, in Russia they are sooo lazy! Btw hit me up if you wanna know how to use Binance to transfer money! It's Igor 🙂
@bsheep04 Жыл бұрын
Hiiii Igor! I 💯 agree about the queue 😤 Every time standing in queue especially for that mandatory medical check up I wondered why couldn't they have something like online queue or some kind of time slot registration, maybe online too. It would make life so much easier for everyone!

Hey olya, please tell me how many hours of classes do students take in masters degrees , specifically in business fields on the daily or weekly basis? st perersburg university?
@bsheep04 Жыл бұрын
Hey! For a master's degree at HSE Saint Petresburg there are around 3 classes per week I would say. 1 class is 3 hours including 10-15 minutes of break. And usually for master's classes start at 6 pm and finish at 9pm

@@bsheep04 Thanks Olya, actually I have been selected for open-door scholarships at st Petersburg polytechnic university in the master of trade field. How's the education standard in russia and is it worth sparing time for?
@bsheep04 Жыл бұрын
@@taqeekhan9439 Congratulation! The education standard in Russia is generally considered to be quite high, with a strong emphasis on math, science, and technology. That being said, there are certainly areas that could be improved. For example, some critics have pointed out that there is a lack of emphasis on critical thinking and creativity in the Russian education system. It's worth noting that the quality of the studying process can also depend on the specific universities and professors involved. While some take their teaching and coursework very seriously, others may not be as committed. However, if your goal is simply to pass a subject, I would say that it's generally not too difficult to do so 😅 In terms of whether it's worth sparing time for, that really depends on your individual goals and interests. If you're interested in pursuing a career in STEM fields, or want to learn more about Russian culture and history, or you want a new experience in a new country (that it's not so expensive), then studying in Russia could be a great option. But ultimately, the decision is up to you and what you want to get out of your education :)

@@bsheep04 great guidence dear olya. One more thing that concerns me is the availability of jobs in st Petersburg. for foriegners who does not know russian language, how is the possibility of getting job with english language??
@bsheep04 Жыл бұрын
@@taqeekhan9439 As a student, your employment options may be more limited than those of a permanent resident or citizen. However, there may still be opportunities available for English-speaking students in fields like tutoring, freelance writing, or online work that can be done remotely. I'm doing freelance content writing myself😄 Some students I know work as teaching or research assistants for their professors But it's also worth checking with your university to see if they offer any job placement services or internships that may be suitable for foreigners who don't speak Russian.
