A chubby chernobyl and two foam hoppers - I love it - that's a serious dry fly rig. I've got to try searching dry flies more often on stillwater for sure.

How do you guys tie up several dry's, like lance has the Chernobyl and a couple of hoppers on? Is there any tutorials you guys have on how to do that?

Are you talking the leader and tippet or the actual tying of the flies?

@@FlyFishFood How are you adding a second and even third fly to your setup is what I am asking and making sure you aren't getting tangled up
@Lanceeganflyfishing4 жыл бұрын
With triple surgeons knots. Top two flies are on tags created by the surgeons knots. Third fly is tied to the terminal end of the tippet. Flies spaced 5 feet apart.

what are some of yalls favorite streamers for stillwater?
@FlyFishFood4 жыл бұрын
Hi Mitch, depending on what you call "streamers" but we fish a lot of minnow patterns (Low Fat Minnow, Baby Fat, Humongous) as well as bigger streamers like the Trout Slider.

How long are you letting parabolic line sink before retrieve? If at all
@FlyFishFood4 жыл бұрын
Totally depends on water depth and fish depth. If we're dealing with deeper fish, sometimes a minute or even two to let it "soak". Also, depends on the distance you're casting. But mix it up until you find what the fish like and then adjust from there.
