I've been watching videos about Japan for about 8 years and somehow this is the first one I've seen that has mentioned Houtou. I'll have to try one day when I can.
@SpeakJapaneseNaturally6 ай бұрын
Houtou is pretty local 😅 But please try it when you come to Yamanashi 😊

Train station employees, especially in Tokyo Station, really earn their money. These mass transit stations could not function at all without them.

3:00 In the Southern US it does not snow very often. It only snows when there is a big winter storm that blows all the way down from Canada. It'll snow maybe once a year sometime between January and February where I live. It would be like if a snow storm went all the way from Sapporo to Osaka in Japan.

I’ve read that bear meat, like other animal flesh, will taste different depending on the animal’s diet. If the bear eats a lot of salmon, their flesh will taste fishy. If they eat garbage, then their meat will have a corresponding taste.

7:16 This sentence was very interesting: "食べたばっかりなんですけど、なんかもうすごく満足です" Is this just a way of saying that you had a good meal? Translating it into English directly makes a bit of a strange sentence 😅
@SpeakJapaneseNaturally6 ай бұрын
Actually, I think Ken san meant, 食べただけなんですけど、すごく満足です, which means, what he did was just eating, but he’s satisfied, which means, the food was good 😊

Good video! Fumi-San, I noticed one thing: on 3:51 the subtitles say “No” but in reality you say “Hai” or “yes” The last scene where you showed that the first scene was fake, seemed funny for me 😂 Ken-san played a good role! 🎉
@SpeakJapaneseNaturally8 ай бұрын
Hi, thank you for watching it to the very end! Not many people do that. Yes, he played a good role, which made me laugh unnaturally😂 About "No" part, the question is "Would you mind ?" so "No" is the correct translation since I agreed to sit there first. (But she suggested a table, which I prefer more.)
