Thanks for the foam roller tip. My left biceps femoris has been bugging me for weeks, because of daily cycling, despite anti-inflammatory gel use (I'm a medical practitioner) so I tried my latex yoga mat rolled with my yoga strap: I immediately felt an improvement! I've just ordered two foam rollers (one for me and one for my daughter, who sits all day in front a computer and has back pain). YOU DO GREAT!!!

Love your Videos☺️ Thanks for all the advice🙏 I was wondering if working with a resistance band also would improve the stretching. I have seen this before in class, but never tried it on my own. Can you recommend this for a dancers stretching routine?

Can you use a rolled up yoga mat in place of a foam roller? (If it doesn’t un-roll😂)

I've heard that on your legs you're supposed to only roll towards the body and not away from it because that can be bad for your veins? Have you heard about that?

I’m not auti lol and I’m not totally sure, but it’s good to do it before so you can relax the muscles first before you stretch and also the muscles can be stretched out easier.

Why is it that science still declares static stretching as the most effective? From what I learned it's gotta do with the neurosystem and that some impulses need to be applied for an extended time to tell the body, the new range of motion is ok. I think it's good to practice different ways of stretching and not eliminate static stretching completely. About time: it might take up to 20 secs for an impulse to travel from its origin to the headcentre and initiate a release.
