Tips for Going to a Con ALONE

I got tired of not going to cons because of other people and my own fears so I said screw it, I'm going alone! And it wasn't half bad... here are 4-7 tips on going to cons alone, I forgot to keep counting so I don't know the exact number.

@@swisdom9117 it went good!! definitely feel like i would've had a better experience with friends, but it was really nice just being in the environment and walking around- if you live in the moment of it and just enjoy your surroundings its definitely worth it :D

I'd used to go alone to cons and recently since I've lately been going with a group I thought that I couldn't be able to do it again. At AX this year I went alone once more and honestly I made more friends than I have in years!

i was at con alone today and it sucked so badly… at first, while my friend was with me, it was great. we went through it, but the second she left, it has gone awfully wrong. i just stood in the corner like a weirdo texting on my phone cause i was to scared to go and talk to someone :(( i almost cried, and left after an hour of that misery. so if u have social anxiety, be prepared that it can SUCK, sadly.

i did have that nerdy friend group, but i am moving across the country so i won't go to cons with them as much, i may have to go to one or two alone until i find more cosplay friends up north
