i think you need to bury them deeper, like up to the leaves so they're not flopping over. i just put some beet down today.

How soon did you transplant? My beets are a week and a half and some are getting "leggy". Gonna plant the helathy lookig ones and start more in the tray. Hopefully it works out

Beets will usually recover from being leggy. Id get them in the ground as soon possible though. They will flop around for a while and you may lose some but getting them in the ground is their best shot!

Did you have trouble getting your red beets to germinate? Did you use a heat mat under lights for germination?

Soak them for a night, they always all germinate since I do this 🥰

How did the transplanted beets do vs direct sowing?

I like it much better. More precise spacing, easier germination inside and no pest issues. Just started a new flat for the fall this way!
