Im definitely going to have to use these tips when I start vlogging again. I’ve tried using preprogrammed gimbal movements before. I think my biggest issue is figuring out the timing. I would definitely recommend people buffer in extra time in their filming. You never know when something will slip or the wind will blow something over.

Your video offers many great ideas for camera movement and gave me a head-slap 🤕 about a device I already have: A turntable for photographing small products. Instead of putting the product on the turntable, I can put my Sony a7IV on the turntable and set the turntable to move slowly through 45-90° and the result will be a pan or a tracking. Hey, 360° for around the world as I slowly walk around the camera and turntable and it captures the background all the way around. Crazy! I just checked the turntable specs and the camera and lens weight are well within its range. The turntable is only 9" dia x 2" H, rechargeable, fits in my backpack, and the remote control is way-easier to use outdoors than an app. Cool, Dunna- thanks for the inspiration! 😊

In regards to the gimbal segment. Are you able to program your example here without the use of the raven eye system? If so, does this feature have its own name outside of "active track", & do you know if this is a standard feature for the RS3 Mini & RS 3 as well? My goal is to film myself for band purposes and the RS3 Pro price tag is a bit brutal to secure the active track for me at the moment. Totally green at the moment. Any and all help is appreciated.
