For me, I try to meet people and say hi to my friends at the beginning of the ride. Near the middle of the ride, I am usually all by myself. A constant pace at 225w is all I can do. If there are some bumps up to 325-350, I am going to need some recovery time.

Great call out! Same, I like to say hello when the group is rolling out and build the plan quick on where we are meeting for coffee. That way after I am dropped I know where to meet everyone!

Fun to watch other riders from front and back close. That’s a large group ride !

1. You do not talk about group ride. 2. You DO NOT talk about group ride. 3. Go straight to the front and pull like a truck. 4. Stay on the front, do not relent. 5. Do not ride on sidewalks - that is for hicks. 6. E-bikes not allowed (no mechanical doping). 7. Group ride will last as long as it has to.
