@wassabilove1111 first off, it’s okay. You felt comfortable and confident enough to tell ppl and that’s fine! I would suggest you pray and ask God to remove any distractions and rebuke any negativity sent your way!! Then I would keep everything else as private as possible. When ppl ask, if you’re not comfortable with giving them updates, I would simply say, “I’m still trying to decide if and how I’ll move forward with moving during this time. Whenever I’m ready to update you, I’ll let you know.” Something of that sort. But I would be doing all of the work behind the scenes, privately

I am a 40 year old nurse: LPN, yes I had a late start in completing my goals of being a nurse - legally but im here to tell you that breaking free from the negative that was imposed on me relatives, who don't want to face me, has been the most rewarding. God is faithful towards those who remain faithful to the path. I second this advice because I also use them. As a black woman, to another black woman, lets cultivate a growth mindset and cutoff who needs to go.

I’m raised in Miami fl and live alone. I gotta late start in my mid 30s and it really give me a reality check. Too expensive for nothing especially in today’s economy. My skill set ain’t too great but I’m struggling big time and don’t even have kids. I’m mostly just scared cause I only have 1 friend here and all my family is here. Solo, I have moved from Philadelphia, to Phoenix to SoCal and next …to Las Vegas‼️🙌🏽🙌🏽 These journeys have been some of the most exciting times of my life. Fortunately, my very small circle has always been supportive. My biggest suggestion is to do a deep dive on the location you are considering. KZbin can be one of your best friends for this task. This even includes if your fav stores are in the area, and what health care providers will be available. As long as you have a job, the pieces will start to fit like puzzle pieces. Humm.. having a boyfriend means you’re still single unfortunately love. My advice is to move and better yourself. TX isa great place to be and date! You can always date long distance if you choose, however, I would never allow another soul to dictate my own personal choices and goals. Best of luck ! You got this ❤️

The United States (if you're here) and the WORLD is huge but social norms or finite. This means that it's possible for you to find a living situation similar to what you remember from home, but without the negativity. In 2021, I moved cross country to a place I've never been with just $2,500 and no job in the new city. But you can't do it alone! When you get to the new city, you MUST use the local resources, the most important of which are the HUMAN resources! Join groups! Network! Make friends! Do this at least one month before your move. It's scary to start from scratch with no safety net, but fear not - many have done this before.

I've watched this video twice now and will probably watch it 2 or 3 more times during this year. I'm planning to move out of my home state next year and these tips are so good. I especially like your tip about not telling anybody about your plans to move. The only peeps I've told are peeps that are supportive. New sub, I appreciate this video and so many things you were saying a resonating with me because anybody I talk to just doesn’t get it. And I think it’s important to point out that I live in the state of Florida because so many people have come down here. I’m born and raised in the state. But the energy down here doesn’t necessarily match mine. I added the Weather app to the locations that I’ve been spotting out. I’ve also been traveling over the last two years, looking at different locations and have a couple trips planned in the next 3 to 5 months. My is about to be put on the market. And I’ve already relocated with family. A graduate with my bachelors in less than six months I don’t wanna leave without it. Saving is so important. But the self doubt emotionally and not thinking you can do. It definitely holds me back ( you or I) both words because I feel like it may not just be me. I love your energy and I appreciate the fact that you were transparent about your transition to a new state. I’ll share a couple of my own list in case anybody else or yourself or did not struggle with this. For me, it was transferable certificates or education to help with the transition into a new job . If you have pets, make sure you possibly look into ESA paperwork as this can save in cost if you’re renting. In my situation, I have homeschooled child. I made sure to call the districts and each location and look up the state regulations for homeschooling. Compare apples to apples when it comes to education, regulations and transfer credits, especially high school students or if you’re college student. For me, I downsized all of my things , making sure you have all of your medical records and important documents together if you need to see a doctor or get prescriptions for a couple months in advance and especially if you need a specialist.

I’m planning to sell my home in Virginia Beach and relocate to Texas because they offer incentives for Veterans and have more land when you purchase a home. I have a realtor in the city I plan to relocate to and I planned to visit but hadn’t planned to visit as long as you mentioned (nor more than one visit). I also appreciate your caution ⚠️ with visitors once relocated. I really wanted to find a group there as well. I just hadn’t found one. Romance isn’t my goal but the robbery situation was helpful. I really want to relocate quickly.

GREAT TIPS ❤ I wonder if I should stop focusing on Social Security right now so I can save and just start working more during the week instead of less? Because Social Security is always going to be there right? I mean you can always apply to get it back. And if you call ahead of time and let DHS know why you suddenly started making more money “to save for moving“ that will probably help in the long run if you do reapply
