When we had the big fires here in San Diego a few weeks ago and were called to evacuate, one of my first concerns was how to pack up my collection. All I can say is, keep the boxes they come in! That way, value is maintained and transport is easier. You never know how much they may be worth 50 years down the road. As always, great video!

Good luck for efforts !

1/18 are great detailed, but for myself many years ago I decided to go on 1/24, because they need much less space, that might be an issue with time, and in my region they're more common, easy to find and cheaper. Detailing on 1/24 is more poor, but still latest models are very well made, eary 90's or 80's buragos and similar compared to them look funny, but still there's something I like in them.:D Interesting videos.

I have reviewed quite a few Maistos. For a list I recommend searching on my channel for "maisto." As far as the best goes, it would be a toss up between several Maistos (most are pretty good). If I had to pick one, it would be the 1/18 Ford F-150 Lariat. Runner ups would be the Mercedes Benz CLS, Corvette C6, Porsche Carrera GT and 1/18 Ford Mustang Cobra.

i hane a question. the right door on my corvette is prettt loose. can it be repaired?
@JMCporsche10 жыл бұрын
Lego-mijn S.D It probably can if you are willing to unscrew the bottom of the car. Some doors like those seen on Maistos, bburagos, and some Wellys can be fixed by tightening the screw on the hinge on the inside of the car (at the end of the arm connecting the door to the car). If the door feels like it is supposed to be spring loaded, then it isn't so easy. It is possible, but probably not worth fixing at that point because you risk breaking the door off and not being able to get it back on.

Could u do a review of the Maisto 1:18 1940 Ford Deluxe Police Car? Thinkin about getting one, but I'm not sure how good a model it is. And do u kno any websites where I could get like diecast parts, tires, lights, underbodies, rims, stuff like that, I kno eBay has that stuff but my mom won't put her credit card info for that, I'm 15 btw have a bit of a collection going, trying to find a job to get some AutoArts and Kyosho's, and would u happen to have the Kyosho 1:18 2009 Rolls Royce Ghost or the Kyosho 1:18 Cadillac CTS-V, would like to see reveiw of those, saving up for both of those. Well thnx a lot if u answer back, and btw I'm a huge fan of ur channel, and is there anywhere else you've seen that Ricko Escalade ESV besides eBay? Okai well I probably made this too long that ur not gonna read it all so yea that's it.

I'm glad you enjoy my channel! The models I review are ones that I own or borrow so I don't have access to all. I do not have the models you listed but they are good bets based on my experience. Autoart has never disappointed me before so I can bet that the Ghost is an excellent model. The Ford Deluxe police car looks like it has decent detail from the pictures and the build quality is likely good as well because it is a maisto. I don't have too much experience with kyosho, but I don't think you will be disappointing with the CTS-V either. Just watch the prices, they add up fast. Ebay is really the only place that I know of where you can buy model parts. There is policecarmodels.com which I have purchased from, but they only sell parts for emergency vehicles. Your mom should do what she thinks is best, but I can say that my experience with Ebay has been very positive. It is pretty safe considering that all payment is sent through Paypal's secure server (no credit card information goes to the seller). They also have buyer protection which covers you if the seller fall through on the order. I recommend reading reviews on the seller though.
