Hey everyone, love the comments below!! Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on the Woodlands! Is it too crowded? Is it too expensive? What do you think?? One thing is for sure, the Woodlands is beautiful and a lot of great people live there - would love to hear from you!!

We just moved here from Silicon Valley and my lifestyle has dramatically increased. It’s beautiful I tell people I feel like I’m living in Tahoe NV. With city lifestyle also.

Why would anybody chose conroe instead of woodlands?
@CityGroupProperties

Actually the same company that created the Woodlands is working on a project in Willis Conroe area so I agree it is a great time to buy a property in that area while the prices are still low and once development is done, you should have a good investment!

Why does this sound something a Texan would say?
@CityGroupProperties
@CityGroupProperties 4 жыл бұрын
@@mintgum1404 LOL, that is true, pretty much all of Houston and surrounding areas are at capacity, doesn't matter where you go - but I do have to say that the construction on highways is definitely helping. They could make I-45 bigger at this point to help out lol.

I'm researching The Woodlands over Phoenix AZ but the real estate taxes are extreme, over 8k a year with a 400k house. Why
@CityGroupProperties
@CityGroupProperties 4 жыл бұрын
It is true real estate taxes in Texas are much higher because Texas relies on property taxes to fund local services more than most other parts of the country. The good news is that Texas does not have a state income tax and sales tax rates are also relatively low, so when you factor everything in, plus our amazing economy it still works out much more beneficial as a resident in the Woodlands and Houston in general. Hope this helps, and thanks so much for watching my video and commenting - you are awesome!! Looking forward to hopefully helping you out when you are ready to make the move, shoot me a text! Alex

Easier to make money and costs less to live? It was 10th richest for a reason.

David, thanks so much for commenting and watching!!! In comparison, the cost of living is much less than any other city with a similar economy around the US. With home prices starting in the $200's - that is not too bad. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment, that is super awesome by the way!!! I truly appreciate your comments and would love the opportunity to review some of the home I am talking about in the area.

End of video shows house with views of mountains somewhere in california. This guy is all smoke and mirrors. Looking for a realtor and this video definitely turned me away from him.

Hi Thomas, I really didn't mean to come off as someone who is not genuine, I am truly sorry this video turned you off, just trying to make a nice video for people to watch. I did see the clip you are talking about, I think my video editor put that in there for B roll at the end and I wasn't excited about that either (I have a better video editor now). I super apologize for that clip, but the rest of the clips are actually in the woodlands and the area I am walking in is Market Square which is a super nice place to walk around on a date or with the family whether you can afford a Rolex or not. This was actually one of the first videos of this quality I had shot, so please give me grace on this one and I hope you will check out some of my other videos. God bless you and hope to maybe have the chance to talk to you some time. Text me any time! Alex

Compared to other cities in the US, it is very well priced since you can get homes in the area as low as the $200's - yes they go to the millions, but there are also a lot of very affordable homes in the area.

@guyfisher81 I agree, it's all relative depending on what part of the country you are in. There are some great deals in the Woodlands, even if you are from Houston, but ESPECIALLY if you are from the east or the west coast - you cannot beat it! Look forward to having you as a new neighbor!!

Yes, I was trying to point out that if the cost of living is less (as compared to other major cities) you would have more disposable income to eat at nice restaurants, etc. Hope this helps, look forward to hearing your thoughts. Alex
