I always struggled with starting knot on cross. But you made it so easy. You are my Guru!

I always appreciate your videos, however I feel to discourage using starting knots since they destroy grommets. The knot stabilizes instantly and perfectly on the grommet only when it receive the tension instantly, on clamp release.

+19knight52 Thanks I see that now. I have deleted all my files for that video so I'll have to redo it. There is actually very little missing though.

How would you start crosses with flying clamps & a starting clamp

Just a question: the tool you use to create a little bridge to spacing hole is a Tennis stringer tool or you made by yourself?

The tool is a blunt nose needle 14 or 15 gauge I bought off ebay

My first attempt at tying Wilson pro tie off knots was sloppy, instead of pulling up I pulled down , leaving a larger, open knot. Should I restring and tie the knots again as Parnell knots? Or wait until the next restring ?

I'd wait unless it bothers you. I prefer the Parnell knot over the pro knot now but they are both good knots.

You've lost so much more tension on the mains tie offs than you need to. Is that your intention?
