@@meriamcurambao4513 I was approved and I took a lot of documents with me. First everything that was required by the embassy like DS-160, passport, photograph, interview confirmation and payment confirmation. Then I took documents that are not required, but can add validity to your VISA application like employer letter, ESTA confirmation, bank statement of my funds, proof from my school days that I'm proficient in english, family photos and I had my travel plans in my head to tell the officer if needed. That's about it. In the end the only things I needed was my passport, DS-160 and the photograph. I was asked a few questions and approved.

@@vandesburghagbor1714 If I remember correctly it went like this. Q: What is the purpose of your travel? A: Tourism. I'm going hiking and sightseeing. Q: Where are you going? A: Arizona. Phoenix area, but I'm visiting many national parks around AZ. Q: How long are you staying and why aren't you traveling with just an ESTA? A: I'm staying 4-5 months so longer than the ESTA allowed 3 months. Q: Do you have finances to support your trip and what is the source of these finances? A: Yes I do and I do interior and exterior renovations with my dad. A few minutes go by, we do small talk about the weather and I'm approved.

I was refused to get b1 b2 visa by consular officers in 1.5 minutes Last friday ,, he didnt even give me a time to talk, as soon as the officer saw me he started to type on computer and later he gave me a paper and passport..,eventhough applicant non eligible to get visa, usa consulate embassy officers should respect the applicant by speaking for atleast 10 minutes for collected non refundable visa fees.. they should talk to the applicant atleast for 160$ otherwise money should be refunded.

I have a B1 visa but I was denied entry into the U.S. I have never broken any law in any country including the U.S (previous trips). Needless to say I was treated like a criminal at the airport. The airline staff appeared to think I had no right to be told in advance that my visa was cancelled. I lost over £1000 for my ticket. I wrote to the embassy but got no reply. @@orhanersan3943 I fully understand but if you are refused entry you would imagine there would be an explanation. I was told only to go to the embassy but an appointment to the embassy has a massive waiting list. For example it's around 500 days at the Paris embassy.

The Officers in Kenya are the worst. They don’t ask for any documents, I told him I wanted to tour schools and he asked if I was employed, when I said no he said he couldn’t give me a visa.
