You're so welcome, Alison! That's why I wait to create videos on new products until I've learned all the ins and outs. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge about the new ink pads. I love your idea/tip on placing the blank color sticker on the top edge instead of in the tiny designated spot. Thanks again, Donna from California

Excellent tips. I've watched this tutorial twice to commit to memory. lol

THanks, Diane. If you use the pads a lot, you're hands will come to know the moves without having to think about it. Just takes some practice.

Thanks for the tips. I struggle sometimes. I do have to say I'm not crazy about the new Inks. There Is just to much Ink on them I think. When I know I'm going to be using one. I will flip it upside down to get some of the Ink away from the top. It does help some. Thanks for sharing!

I know what you mean about too much ink on the pads, especially when they're new. I often take a paper towel and wipe off a bunch of ink so I don't end up with too much ink on my stamp. Most of the ink sits on top of the pad instead of soaking into the pad like the old felt pads.

I use all the color strips. I put the solid one inside then I put the one with English on the edge that will face me. The other ones go on the other sides. It didn’t matter that I don’t know what the words say. I just look at the color.

That's mostly what I go by, too, Diana. I love having more than one indicator.

Thanks for the video. I love the quality of images I get from SU ink pads, but not as nuts about handling them. Where is the video on opening the old-style cases?

Thank you -- I am 76 and have such a terrible time opening and closing the new stamp pads. Why do they make it so difficult!!! -- I am ready to start buying other pads...

I don't know, Patty. I think they really like a pad that flips like these so the pads don't dry out. They must not have any 70+ year olds to test them! I hope you'll give the tips a try. They're very good inks once you get them open!

Hi Sage, How are you my friend? It is so very good to see you. It has been a little while. You sound wonderful. Anyway.... Wanted you to know this little tip that was shared with me years ago. Dip a Q-tip in a little vaseline or baby oil. If you use oil a little goes a long way. Don't saturate the tip. Rub the tips along the tracks on the ink pads. You will be shocked at the difference. I prefer to use the Vaseline because it seems to work the best. I think you'll like how this works. So much better than the lip balm. Let me know what you think. Blessings to you and yours. Kathy B. Hi friend. I like the lip balm because of the wax in it. Plus I have it on hand. I don't use vaseline or baby oil for health reasons. Thanks for the tip, though. Perhaps others will want to try it.
