One thing I always bring is a battery charger. I got the really powerful one that it charges my phone multiple times before it dies and it can go a few days with out needing to be charged itself. I went to anime LA and it lasted the whole weekend and I used my phone a lot

Make sure you're comfortable in what you're wearing guys. A good practise I like to do after dressing up is the entire sequence of the Nutcracker (the Ballet) before I leave my house, yes.

I would have gone to my first con last week but it was canceled. I don’t have any friends who are nerds like me so I was going to go with my aunt and grandmother. Especially since my mom said I couldn’t go without my grandma. Maybe next year...

If your worried about your phone dying during a con just do what I do and get a mobile charger! Trust me they usually have a 3-4 hour life and it only takes about 40 minutes to charge my phone and I have an iPhone 6! So I recommend that!! It's literally the BEST emergency charger for $15-$20 you'll spend!

+Managa101 true. i always bring a battery charger. But still, especially the camera on your phone sucks a lot of battery life. And it's just a good habit to have a separate camera.

Your advice for buying things at the convention, is how I made the decision to buy tickets to my next convention. It's next week and I didn't get tickets until last week. I'd been debating for a while, and then finally went for it (and then screwed up and got two tickets instead of one :P ).

My father got the tickets for me and him cause he loves comventions too, even it's gonna feel weird to walk through my first convention with my dad. but I still might have chance my only cosplay loving friend will go there with her mother so we could enjoy most of all the cosplay together.Thanks for the tips! =D

Aa! tip 2 was a big for me. i just went to my first con, and i didnt have a friendo. luckly i had my parent pass, and a group invited me to hang. So take it from the both of us, have a con squad!

Let them know the places you will be going to, your plans, and what you'll be doing there. If they are concerned they just want you to be safe. Showing them that you have a planned schedule will show them you're more responsible. Always put safety 1st.

I would say that, in my case, the first tip is the most important one. I bought the tickets to a convention thinking that I was going to meet a group of friends there, but then they all canceled and I ended up having to go there alone. It was overall quite an awkward experience, even with all the compliments I got, I still couldn't feel confident enough. I also have no pictures of me on the event, because I was too embarrassed to take a selfie or to ask someone to take a picture of myself. In other words, I just didn't have fun. Don't go alone :)

I can't stress the tip about bringing water enough!! at my last convention I was wearing a heavy costume and my friend and I both ended up missing half of the con because she passed out and I was on my way there. it really ruins a con if you're just sitting and feeling terrible the whole day

Can you really use your creditcard 'and' cash money at conventions?

Yes. Nowadays everyone has those card readers for their phones. Cash is better but I've never had any issues with using a card

The first time I went to a convention (mcm comic con )was probably when I was about twelve 😆I thought I would be so nervous and have a panic attack but no I was just so overwhelmed with excitement that I completely forgot about all of it ,it was so cool and everyone was so nice and there were amazing cosplayers and stalls it was like the best day, so don't worry too much about it because you'll of had an amazing time by the end of the day😄😁

Oh man, all the time!!! Every con is a struggle to decide what cosplay to wear. Usually I'll wear my newest one but i always have my favorites that i want to wear too. And if I'm matching someone and they want to wear something specific. There's so many options! But yeah. Usually I'll choose to wear me newest or my favs or if Kevin wants to wear something I'll match him that day.

Okay, so I'm 18 and hopefully going to a convention soon. I have a small understanding of what to bring to a con, and what goes on at a con. However, my HUGE concern is feeling like an outsider. I just have this huge suspicion that everyone who I try to talk to, or be friendly with will look at me like I'm the biggest mistake on Earth... And I'm also scared that no one will try talking to me... So, if anyone has any tips on that, please tell me!

Nope. You'll be fine. Everyone there is there because they have similar interests as you. And they will be friendly and love to talk

1:48 On my Second con i was wearing an amazing dress i made without bra, i was confident, i was happy, i felt great, until my brother turn to me and silently said :" sis, you are not wearing any bra, are you ?" i was like : "Yeah.... Why?" and he answeard :"Well if you focus for a little you can see through the top" Well..... Fuck i have no idea how could i continue another 2 and half day of con after that in the same dress but i did. And somehow i forgot this fact and i enjoyed it.
