Great tips! I have never and will never be stingy with my products. To use up my products I follow this routine: right out the shower I spray my mist everywhere, next I apply my lotion and spray my mist again after the lotion application, then I'll apply a body oil and spray my mist again, I make sure you can smell me from 10 feet away 😂, I just love your personality you're so fun! 💜

The * don't be stingey* tip - AMEN! i spray my whole body down with mist before i get dressed, and again once my OOTD is on, some more in my hair... and I load my loofah UP with shower gel. We are getting lathered from head to toe at least twice. Body cream so thick on my legs and arms I can almost see it? Works for me. 😅

My personal tip: I wear my fragrances around the house. During quarantine I was barely touching my collection, b/c I wasn't going out. But I buy fragrances b/c I like to smell them on me. So, I gave myself permission to wear them even if no one else was around to smell it. I had to push away the thought I was somehow being wasteful (though I do tend to still save the perfumes for going out and use fragrance mists at home). Like you said, it's self care.

You and I are exactly the same on this. Lol! I work from home as well. It's a good way to get into the practice of always smelling good. I only go out to run errands or go to the gym but get compliments very often, mostly when I'm at the gym. I layer oil, lotion and a mist/perfume so it lingers onto the skin/clothing for hours. I recently recalled how my mother will fragrance herself up everyday and night after she showers. Even now that she is retired, she is going to put on some lipstick, a lounge around dress, earrings and perfume. Lol! My grandmother was the same. Self care feels good...

I was a fragrance vendor from 2001-2016. I had a huge fragrance collection. I also had a large hygiene collection. I learned early on to layer! Layer! Layer! Also store your items in a cool dark place. They last longer.

Yessss! Team overspray and layer up! 🙌🤣 Layer two, three or more fragrances that compliment each other and douse yourself from head to toe and you will start to use up your products 👌💯

I save a lot of money because I like my showergel and bodycream basic 🤣 So I can pair them with ALL my mists and perfumes. I have a total of 3 lotions: a Vaseline basic lotion scent, velvet petals and the bumbum cream. One of those will always work!

I almost choked on my drink when you said “how you gonna use up 8oz spraying 5 or 6 sprays?!” 😂 I bought a lot of perfumes in 2020 and a couple of 3.4oz bottles at that. I am using some of them as room/linen sprays now. Going forward I will be buying travel spray sizes and 1oz bottles unless I absolutely love a scent and it’s going to be discontinued. one of my favorite things is keeping a diary too, whether it be physical or digital, i really adore notion because i can put things in columns and expand or close toggles and i like to put some in “own” “had” “wishlist” and then i’d do mini reviews to place them in either “would repurchase” or “would not repurchase” when i use it all up within the “had” toggle

Very good advice. I love mixing anywhere between 2-5 mists at a time if they’re either similar or to enhance or add to the scent I’m going for. Def helps with getting through the products 👍🏾

Hey Friend. 💙🌹 I love your tips. I love to layer, so I use more than one fragrance mist and body cream/lotion at a time. It helps me use them up faster. I use at least 2 fragrance mists and at least 2 body creams and lotions per day. Sometimes I’ll use 3. I write down my favorite combos to keep track of what I love. It helps me figure out which fragrance mists are one and done. As far as perfumes, I noticed that I use them a lot faster than the fragrance mists. I use the same perfume for many of the combos I create. I’m definitely a heavy sprayer. Another thing that I do is layer 2-3 shower gels together, depending on what the combo is. I’m so extra with everything.

Bonnie uses her body cream as furniture polish to use it up and you can use ffm as room sprays..I have used shower gels as bubble bath too.

From your collection and many others collections, I'm a mini product junkie. What helps me not keep buying is me telling myself that I already have something similar to what I am currently wanting to buy and that I need to use what I have first. Simply what you said... I have about 5 things that are close to expiring. One is a body oil from VS that I know I bought about 4 years ago. Smh... I completely forgot about it because it was in my product drawer in my closet (something that I wasn't able to see on a daily). You hit it on the head with this video. Now it's out in my bathroom so I'm using it fresh out of the shower. Thankfully it smells the same and isn't irritating my skin. I also sat out my BBW body creams and mists. I had to place them on my dresser next to my perfume tray. Thank you for making and sharing this video. You're a very transparent, funny, authentic and refreshing energy...

I like to layer my fragrances so I use the shower gel, lotion or body cream, and fine fragrance mist. However, I do not buy repackages or back-ups unless the scent is in my top 5 or has been completely finished (and I loved it). I have two or three scents in rotation and don't switch until I have used up the shower gel and lotion / body cream which leaves me with a partially used mist.

Great ideas to get us motivated to use them up. I just started collecting bath & Body Works items in early December. In under 10 weeks now I have close to 70 items of there's. Now I need to start using them all up. Today I returned 6 items that I didn't like the scent for ones I do like. I seem to buy the spray, body lotion and shower gels only. I only have 10 different collections but buy multiple products of 4 of them that are my favorites.

I have learned that usually I am a one and done kind of person. By the time I am done using an item once I am usually over it and probably don't need it again. I also stick with the body sprays and can easily pair them with unscented lotion.

I’m a one and done on most things too but there are a couple of items that I will continuously repurchase. I have so much lotion I’m trying to cut down on the amount I get and break myself of the mentality of having everything in the same fragrance to layer.

Great great advice. I used to be one of those ppl that *save for a rainy day* with that mindset I STILL had the original Tutti Dolci that was in the glass jars n I had the perfumes. 😫😫🤣🤣💆🏽‍♀️💆🏽‍♀️ I was like *this is ridiculous* holding on to these products n not using them. So I decluttered n rebuilt what I loved n now I use my creams n sprays daily. I only buy mists n creams n scrubs here n there. Every day is special and precious so I use my stuff n I’m still working from home n not really goin out cause of COVID n every other new variant pop up. 😒🙄😂🤣. I’m mad at myself for my Bodycare collection phase. I got stuff that other collectors had but I hated. I wanted to have a big collection like them. Now I’m trying to use everything up and start from the beginning and have a super small collection. I only want three perfumes, four body lotions and mists, two deodorants, one unscented scrub, four body washes. The four washes, mists and lotions will be 2 for fall/winter and spring/summer scents and just stick with four. If I want to try a new one I’ll use up the one and buy the one I want to try. I can’t handle the huge collection. I think I’ll stick to small collections

Don't feel bad, I did the same thing! I got carried away and got so much stuff, it overwhelmed me! I gave a lot away to family and friends. I learned not to get hyped about a scent and to trust my nose. The good thing that came out is it was that I learned my about my scent preferences. I love gourmands, they are my favorite, and I dislike linen/cotton/ and boozy scents. My collection is much more manageable and I'm enjoying it more. ❤️

With my only 5 scents i buy. I line them up behind each other on my 1 shelf. It is all in one spot so all i needto do is grab the 2 or 3 products in the row take them down use them and putthem backwhere they belong.

With there shower gels i only use a little each time as i can't seem to get them rinse off my skin. So it forces me to just use a small amount but the creams and lotions i reapply them through out the day.

I do notice a difference not getting every piece to a collection unless I absolutely love it it’s unique to my collection.

I'm in the process of trying to use up my into the night shower scrub, body cream and mist. My husband really doesn't like the scent and I've been at the hospital with our daughter for the past few weeks so I'm making a point to try and use it up while he doesn't have to smell me 🤣

I've purchased some shea butter moisture body products and when I tell you it went bad so fast. I have to use it up bc it wasn't really cheap but I know I will never buy them again. I have some bath and body works products 3 years old and still good.

I have one Shea Moisture body wash and after reading your comment I know to keep a watch on it! Thanks because I don’t tend to worry about my body washes and shower gels going bad.
