*PLEASE READ* stop with the hate comments. as you can see from the title, it says **tips**, meaning you don't have to follow everything you see in the video. i just wanted to put my thoughts out there to help people. if you don't have anything nice to say, just don't say it. update: added a sixth one and an eighth one, the ones that really triggers me, also read the edit at the bottom. People are commenting things in the comment section that are very confusing, I'm gonna clear this up so I don't have to reply to every sing one of them. (i will add to this if there is any more questions) *1.) You don't NEED to add pupils, its a choice.* I know this, its not my option to force upon someone that using pupils is necessary, this video is simply meant for those who want to put personality in their character, using different eye shapes and colours really brings out the persona, of course, mixing different eye colours and pupil colours can look good, but sometimes it doesn't stand out, looks kind of lazy. (adding on, if you have an eye colour similar to the pupil, for example like mine, its perfectly fine, because its looks plain and simple, yet stands out) *2.) I use (said topic) on my OC's, does that mean she hates me?* i do not hate any style you choose, I don't hate anything or anyone. *3.) My hair and eyes match in real life (question similar to this)* Theres a HUGE difference, for example, brown hair and eyes, they're realistic and natural not random, but when you use blue hair and blue eyes, or purple eyes and purple hair, its doesn't look outgoing, its boring and simple, of course, if your characters use blue highlights and blue eyes, thats alright, just using the whole hair blue and blue eyes is a bit, i dont know, not exciting. *4.) that accessory you used makes the sleeves look better though* All I'm saying is; there are much different sleeve options, those sleeves are quite overrated, from what I've seen, and its always better to use different sleeves to make it look cute or *e d g y* *5.) yOu'rE So bOSSy wE DOnT haVE tO FollOW YoUr rUlEs* its not a rule, its an opinion, not in anyway am i saying you HAVE to do a certain topic, I don't understand how people find this bossy and rude, if you honestly think im acting like this, then i dont know why other Gacha tubers have the same idea, others have their opinions, dont attack anyone for having a basic opinion. *6.) whY DO YOU SPELL COLOR LIKE THAT* FOR THE LAST TIME. I live in the UK! We spell it like C O L O U R. I don't understand why people don't get this! *7.) There is no proper way of making an oc* I know this. I wasn't really thinking much about what I said, and everyone is right, there is no proper way, but honestly, I wasn't thinking those words would offend anyone. *8.) EW WHY DO U USE BLACK SKIN IT LOOKS LIKR BURNT TOAST* Not in ANYWAY DO I PERMIT RACISM ON MY CHANNEL. I’m BEST FRIENDS with a black person, and I honestly find it DISGUSTING how people can shit talk like this, you are a vile human being for even talking like this, it’s f*cking rude, disrespectful and gross, go get a life. Lol Random fact: Black eyes are really rare, rarer than blue, I used to think I hadblack eyes when I was a toddler xD and then my brain was better xD and I found out that I have really dark brown eyes and I can see my pupil 0>0 lol random fact is done.

Hani Rathod a lot of eye colors are rarer than blue. it’s a very common eye color right under brown, i think. also usually babies are born with blue/grey eyes and then your body starts to produce more melanin that adds more of a darker tone to the eyes. i was born with grey-ish purple eyes but now my eyes are brown. it’s your pigmentation basically. not being rude, just wanted to educate! black eyes are not actually possible. they are just really dark brown. i can lend some links with more information if you want!

That is the DEFINITION of 'black eyes' as its impossible to have comepletely black eyes. I think the reason some gacha tubers use “vibrant colors” on their characters is because there wasn’t much color variety to start with (I think it would’ve been 100000x better if Luni just added a fucking color wheel) and were just trying to make their character unique/stand out.

I also feel like its important to mention that when you choose hair, actually be consistent with the bangs, rear hair, back hair. Etc. For example, you should pair curly bangs with curly hair. Its kinda weird to see wavy bangs with spiky hair at the back

An example of where to use neon colors is in my friend's oc. She has neon green eyes, but it still does go with the rest of the character. My friend's friend also uses a lot of neon colors in her designs, but by some stretch of a miracle, they work.

As an artist speaking for the Gacha Community (I'm also joining it on another channel.) I recommend that the community studies Colour Theory so that way the entire issue with colours in their designs are less of a problem. When I started drawing I didn't even know Colour Theory existed. Now I have improved and Colour Theory isn't just for artists!

really I think it depends on the colors you are using. For example; if you want your Oc to be a little more realistic it COULD be brown and brown because a lot of people have brown hair and brown eyes, like me. Yes, it would make it a little more realistic and simple, but simplicity is always good. Although sometimes it doesn't look good like green for example.
