No, it's only one interview. Usually decision comes in 40 days...

I think the first point you have mentioned about uploading extra documents is a flop idea. Submitting extra and unnecessary documents may cause the delay in processing your application. So, make sure to upload documents precisely.

Hi, i have applied for student visa in sweden. Got admission letter mentioning to pay tution fee within 24may but due to covid i couldn't do it in time and asked for extension of deadline and finally paid the amount on june 8. I was asked to submit my application for visa as soon as i have paid fees but it took time and I lodged my visa application on june 20. Will this delay hamper my chances of getting Visa? And one more thing my husband is accompanying me but he had stayed in dubai from 2013 to 2017 in working visa. Does his working visa status hamper his chances of getting dependent Visa?

​@@SparklewithJyoti The recommended video was quite informative. I still have few queries 1. I have received the contract from Employer in Sweden then who should start the process for work permit. When should I book an appointment with Sweden Embassy? Is it immediately after receiving the contract or should I wait for some intimation from Embassy or the Employer side to proceed? 2. I am currently based in Bengaluru and I have found VFS branch here itself (through the VFS website and google search), do u recommend to apply from Bengaluru itself or traveling to Delhi is mandatory/preferred? 3. My passport expiry date is in Dec'22, will it have any adverse impact in the process? 4. Currently, I am single but planning to get married in next 2-3 months. I am thinking to move to Sweden by end of October if everything goes well. So, I may travel with my spouse and in that case, will it be convenient to apply for a dependent visa after I get the work permit? what would you recommend will be a better approach? (Sorry for such an exhaustive set of queries)

Hi Mazhar I hope it will not affect. Try to contact migration agency and ask the reason first why you have not received decision. Another thing you can think of is first asking anonymously what happens if dates are incorrect and how to correct just as generic question and depending upon answer you can decide further action. I think it’s quite human to make mistakes so I hope they are considerate.

Sweden definitely has more technical openings in IT & software ...and short term courses might not guarantee a visa...but do check my links mentioned in the doctor in Sweden video...

Hi Jyothi, Hope you are doing Good. I saw your recent trip to Vienna. It is a wonder place. I have query hope you give some inputs. My wife name in my passport does not match apple to apple as in marriage certificate & Kids Birth certificate. For Example: My wife name in marriage certificate: Niveditha Gowda My wife name in kids birth certificate: Niveditha Gowda In our kid's passport as well it is Niveditha Gowda My wife name in my passport: Niveditha Manjunath Gowda Wife passport was made before marriage so her father name included under Given name as" Niveditha Manjunath" & Surname as "Gowda". So in this case will there be any query from Migrationsverket for work permit.? Could you please suggest do we need to update my wife name in her passport as "Niveditha gowda", So all the documents like Marriage certificate, Kids Birth Certificate, kids passport and wife passport will be aligned with same name.
